I was looking forward to working with Gary because of all the rave reviews, but unfortunately mine was very disappointing. I live in an older complex and bought some new faucets to replace 3 old ones. Contacted Gary and he got back to me quickly with a great price. We had installation scheduled for Saturday June 6th at 9am. The day before, he tells me the other job he's working is "a water heater repair has turned into a replacement," and asks me to move our appointment to 1:00, 2ish. I say perfectly fine. Day-of, he informs me he's running late, and shows at 3:00 instead. Still totally fine, I completely understand the running length of jobs can be unpredictable at times.
Now fast forward 10 days later - it's Tuesday June 16th, and one of the sinks he replaced is spewing water from a leak. I ask if he can come back and check it out, and he says he can come back out on Thursday. We remove everything from underneath the sink, having to throw out half because it's ruined by the water, and proceed to place a bowl underneath to catch anymore leaking water. We completely discontinue using that sink for the time being. Thursday comes - no communication from Gary. I reach out to him. He tells me he thought he texted me already. Once again it's another job where the "water heater repair has turned into a replacement." I'm wondering if he already forgot he used this same exact line with me 2 weeks before - hmm. He says he'll come the next day after 2:00.
Friday comes, not a word. Once again, I have to be the one to reach out and I simply asked if I should just hire someone else - as it was clear that he can not meet the commitments that he gives to his customers. He tells me, "sorry, I got some bad news today - I'll come tomorrow at noon."
I can't make this up people - Saturday comes, and he now has a migraine. All texts are attached to this review for proof. I told him to feel better, and that I'll buy the caulk and just seal the sink myself. Overall, Gary was pleasant in person and worked fast and efficiently. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend him solely off the complete lack of professionalism. Please look at the other 1-star reviews from other former customers that also mention this "water heater repair that turned into a replacement" story. You've been warned/informed.

Gary has taken care of plumbing problems for me over the past 4 years; he has also done occasional
"handy-man" jobs. Sometimes an appointment would be missed - always due to a family conflict, which I
understood. He was polite and pleasant; someone I would have (and did) recommend to others. I am very
disappointed that I have not heard from him in several weeks about resolving a monitory problem he
acknowledges. After missing the original and several subsequent dates to take care of this, he no longer
returns my calls or the messages I have left for him. Unless and until he takes care of this obligation, I am
unable to endorse him as anyone you might want to use.

Initially impression was completely changed within the first week of completing the service request. The toilet was in the same state after 1 use. I contacted Gary to inform him and he promised to come back and correct.
I took 1/2 and after waiting the entire day he contacted me to say he forgot he had some tests to get done at the hospital. O was completely understanding and we rescheduled. I took off again from work and waited and texted/called and no response. Understanding he had medical issues I assumed something happened and he would contact me later. It's been 7wks and I've has to hire someone else to redo his job. The toilet is now finally correctly fixed. Gary and team, this was very professional and unethical!
