I needed a plumbing consultation to be able to turn off water to my condo for an extended absence. Tim called me right back and was able to come within 3 days notice.

He examined the plumbing at the condo and helped me map out what to do when leaving the condo for extended absences.

$87 for the service call. Was worth it for me for the security leaving the condo. 3 stars as I haven't seen his plumbing work, but I would try him again.

i called darling plumbing & heating for a basement sewage crisis on a saturday afternoon. the on-call plumber called me back within 10 minutes, and let me know he didn't want to charge me the $130/hr weekend/emergency rate since from my description, he likely wouldn't be able to fix the problem without a jackhammer. he talked me down off the proverbial ledge and scheduled an appointment for first thing monday morning - 7:30 with a courtesy call at 7am.

how my monday morning progressed:

7:00 no phone call
7:30 no one shows up
7:35 call dispatch and am told someone would call back immediately
7:50 call another plumber, and cancel service visit from darling.
8:05 the new plumber shows up and fixes the problem with no jackhammering necessary

in all fairness, the dispatcher and plumber were very friendly and seemingly knowledgeable on the phone, but a no-show without acknowledgement is pretty crap service.
