Recommended Customer Reviews

I recently received outstanding service from Britton Waterworks Plumbing. They serviced both of my water heaters in my home and I am so glad they did. Their plumbing technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. They provided me with excellent service and also valuable advice on how to improve the efficiency of my water heaters, which will lower my electric bill in the long run. I feel confident in being able to trust them with any of my plumbing needs in the future. I will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend them for anyone who has plumbing and piping needs.

A really good installer came and did exceptional work. Very nice, polite, and considerate person. The process of how he was directed to not start work upon arrival was not. I had to wait nearly an hour before I discoverd, that they need to be paid an additional $105 (in full) in additional to the $75 I paid up front.
The work was done very well once started, and I am happy with install completed.
If $75 up front was not enough to get started upon arrival, they should let the customer know ahead of time.
I won't do business with them again, unless they change their practices, and apologize.

Would you please send me my Bradford White water heater registration via email? Installation was complete June 27th and I have not received my warranty registration.
Kind regards
S Mondal

The technician was super, polite and all. However, the marketing is employing bait and switch techniques: for example you want one job, out of pity they need business you think you might have another one. In the interim you pay " non refundable " deposit for two jobs because you want to be a good customer! They offer you credit rather than reimbursement. I hope 50 dollars were worth this review. This lady - Zelena- calls you 10 times to schedule the job. Be very aware of the " deposit" that is " non refundable". Update: I got chastised in writing ( see below) by the business owner for being busy then sick and unable to schedule the job in a timeframe convenient for them. I wish them good luck retaining customers. They can donate it to a good charity ! In retrospect I should have used amazon home offer (110 versus 175) because of accountability!

I called Britton WaterWorks on a Saturday to get an additional estimate to replace my main line water line, which had started leaking significantly. Zelena was able to quickly work with me over the phone and email to get an estimate that same day. Later that day, Zelena and David stopped by to see the problem first hand. They explained the process and timeline for the replacement, which was a multi-day undertaking. The work was completed exactly as described, on time, and they did an outstanding job. Excellent communication the entire time, and they were even able to work around my very hectic work week.
I had a follow-up problem due to my hot water recirculation pump failing after the water had been off. Britton WaterWorks was able to find a better replacement and swap it out quickly. The entire team, David, Zelena, Jordan, and Jimmy, were all very professional and skilled. I will definitely call on Britton WaterWorks in the future.

I discovered a leak in my garage ceiling late Saturday night. I called Britton Waterworks and sent them a picture on Sunday although I knew they were closed, I wanted to work with them due to the excellent reviews I had read on Yelp. Plus they were in my area. They called me back on Monday morning and set up an appt for later that afternoon. The leak was caused by a faulty pipe on my AC. It was fixed in no time. Everybody was so nice, professional, and prompt and the price was very acceptable. I was extremely pleased. They also referred me to a restoration company. Britton will now be my #1 plumber from now on.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and left issue WORSE than found.
We had Britton WaterWorks (BW) come out for a diagnostic on our leaking shower head on Wednesday, 5/9. The shower head leaked INSIDE the shower. David came out and identified the problem, took the part out that was damaged and gave a brief explanation of what was wrong. He DID NOT request payment and I assumed the service call fee would be included in final invoice.
David finished up about noon that day (5/9) and I received a call from Zelena about 2pm. Zelena was requesting payment for the service call - great, no problem other than the fact that I was driving. I asked her to call my husband to handle, which she did. He was in meetings two of the 4x she called within a 24hr period. The fourth call was also when my husband was driving. He asked that she call back in 20mins to give him time to get back to the office to handle the payment and schedule repair. She called and they discussed payment, estimate and she also requested half upfront for estimated repair. When my husband asked why, she said "because it took 5 calls to get this payment from you." Keep in mind, this is all within 24hrs. After that comment was made, my husband felt insulted and told her she just lost a customer. She also made a vague 'threat' about putting liens on people's houses. We're talking about a service fee of $65 which turned into $95 once we decided to use a different plumber that we paid WITHIN 24hrs! The repair estimate was already approved and they were working on scheduling which wouldn't be until Saturday (3 days later).
Fast forward to Monday, 5/14. I notice a strong mildew odor coming from my closet and noticed my closet was flooded. My husband immediately contacts BW to explain what occurred. David came out that morning and inserted some PVC to direct the leaking water back into the shower, pulled back the carpet and set up one fan. My husband asked David why he just didn't take payment at time of service and he said something along the lines of ..."we don't take payment from the wife because the husband is usually the one that makes the call." He also indicated that people have not paid in the past. I understand that may be true, but what I don't understand is treating new customers as if they will not pay. Maybe have Zelena say it's company policy to take 50% upfront - that's easier to swallow than insinuating that we took too long (1 day after a game of phone tag) to pay so I don't trust you'll pay.... I digress.
After several back and forth texts and phone calls (5/14 and 5/15), David basically told us it was our fault and we should have fixed the problem sooner. Actually, he keeps saying time lapse. I could understand the time lapse argument IF we knew of the problem and did nothing to mitigate. We have asked for a dehumidifier and additional fans to dry the closet out. They have denied the dehumidifier and offered one more fan. I truly cannot believe how far this has escalated. As soon as we were aware of the problem (MONDAY, 5/14), we contacted BW immediately.
We are not seeking anything 'extra' from this company. We just wanted the closet to be properly dried and treated. We informed David of our intent to file a formal complaint and also file with small claims court. David is taking no responsibility and insists this is our fault because of the time lapse between diagnosis and repair. Before the diagnosis, WE DID NOT HAVE A LEAK INSIDE THE WALL. Before the diagnosis I DID NOT HAVE A FLOODED CLOSET. The leak diagnosis and removal of existing part (which he still has) is what caused the closet to flood.

I was very unhappy with how I was treated and how Britton Waterworks conducted business with me at my home. ZERO customer service. First of all they were late from the window of time they gave me and on top of that getting a quote was a hassle because I had to call into their secretary to get the quote. WHY DOESN'T THEIR SERVICE MEMBERS KNOW THEIR PRICING? So I negotiate a discount because they were late and let them begin work. While fixing a leaking pipe in my attic one of the service members with Britton Waterworks stepped on the sheet rock on my ceiling cracking it. I saw the whole thing. David, the plumber, shouts out to his co-worker to be careful and continues work. At the end of fixing the leak and dealing with payment I brought up the cracked sheet rock and asked that some money be deducted from the quote. David very arguably says that he is not a sheet rock guy and that they already gave me a discount. I informed him this did not matter as they caused damage to my home that I will now have to pay for to get fixed. He arguably and rudely explains to me that HE IS NOT A SHEET ROCK GUY... and sometimes this happens and the home owner has to deal with it. David then tries to put the cost on my home insurance saying they will be paying to fix my sheet rock from the leak anyways so they can fix it then. (I informed my home insurance of this and they were not happy). In the end I was not gonna sit here and argue with this man so I end up paying them just to get them to leave... which was also an issue because the only take payment over the phone and did not provide me with e receipt for my service then and there. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Avoid at all cost! Will be reporting this incident to BBB.

I wish I could rate zero stars. Totally bad experience. Poor customer service. Problem not solved. Britton Water Works misdiagnosed a problem with my toilet. After I called them the next day to tell them I was still having the same problem, they strung me along for more than a week. Once they texted me to say they were on their way, they put in the text that I may have to pay an additional amount if it is a different issue than what they thought. So I may have previously paid for some unnecessary work and you want me to pay more? You are supposed to be the expert. After I expressed that I wasn't about to pay them any more money, the Technician, who I believe is the owner accused me of yelling and talking over him. My voice may have been a little high but I had been more than patient over the period they were dragging me along.
After I said I wasn't paying anymore money, they sent me a text saying that they could not honor the warranty on the work because I refused to let them troubleshoot the problem. I didn't refuse let them troubleshoot, I just refused to pay them again to do it.

Even thought they are professional quality plumbers, professional and know how to fix the problems, they are expensive and often do not arrive on time
