I had hired Dennis to repair things in my home for years. Most recently I hired him to change a water filter under my sink and sub-contract carpentry work under my sink. The work he did for me which cost over $300 wound up costing me close to $1000 to undo. He left me with a dishwasher that didn't work and a cut open pipe under the sink that destroyed all of the carpentry work I had subcontracted to have fixed.
I tried contacting him for over 6 months to make good on his work, he never responded to my calls, emails or inquiries from American Express.
I've never written one of these reviews before but I wanted to make sure no one gets cheated again.

Dennis is brilliant! He gave me a very fair estimate to install a new water heater and fix a gas line to the fireplace. He is a consummate professional, even during the most challenging moments. Dennis had answers to all my questions and explained things in a way that made sense. He has worked hard to develop his business and reputation and it shows. He deserves all the business that comes his way. I love to support good people, but I hope that writing this review won't make him too busy for me to use his services again! Go Chelsea FC!

We're having a new washer and dryer installed this afternoon in our 1931 house full of 1.5"" galvanized steel plumbing. This morning, I shut off the hot and cold taps to the old washer in order to disconnect it. When I removed the hot line, water started spraying everywhere. The seal in the hot valve had failed. I quickly reconnected it in order to stop the flow.

I came to Yelp in search of a high quality, local plumber who might be able to fix the problem before the new washer is delivered this afternoon at 2:15. I called four plumbing companies, and Britannia was the first who was able to make a house call on such short notice.

Dennis arrived less than an hour after my call, asked and answered plenty of questions. Our old pipe had been ""secured"" by hanging it from a shoestring, literally. Dennis replaced it with PEX to a new hammer arresting laundry box, securing the new lines to the joists and wall.

It was about this time that I remembered that the kitchen sink had gradually become slow to drain since we moved in seven months ago. Dennis was able to quickly and cleanly clear the drain all the way out to the waste line in the side yard.

On top of that, he took measurements for some additional renovation work we intend to have done over the next year or two. All this, and his work was complete by 1pm, with plenty of time before the new washer and dryer are delivered.

Britannia will be getting my call for any future plumbing needs.

Dennis did a complete copper re-pipe on my 75 year old Studio City house.
He is one of the most honest tradesman I have ever dealt with. He thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done.
He did a great job at a reasonable price and has given the old place new life. Dennis is a real professional and can be counted on to do a great job.

Mr. Clark has never disappointed! He communicates well and is extremely fair in pricing. He brings respect to his craft / skills and allows you to understand the steps (if you chose to 'want to know'), of what is needed to be accomplished.... He also treats you and your household with those same qualities of respect. I'm happy to say, we are working on about 6 years now!

It's so hard to find good, reliable people who most importantly DON'T RIP YOU OFF!!! I was referred to Dennis by a friend who is NEVER satisfied so I knew he must be good. He'll do everything from replacing a garbage disposal to a full bathroom remodel. He and his team are just finishing up my new fixtures. Who knew a bathroom could be so exciting?
Not to mention, they leave my place looking immaculate each day.
