Let me tell you all about Brightside Plumbing. I had the pleasure (yes, it was indeed a pleasure) of meeting Anthony, one of Brightside's brightest stars! I needed an estimate for under basement floor sewer line replacement on a rental house I own. Another ""famous"" local company gave me a hellacious price to repair. Anthony came in lower than the other company, but included in the bid was repairs to all kinds of ""non-code"" plumbing repairs done previously! From unnecessary traps slowing the kitchen drain down to angled plumbing lines that caused used water to try to go uphill! Yes, uphill. The ""famous"" company tunnel visioned on just the sewer pipe without even looking at the rest of the house plumbing. As Anthony said, you wouldn't take your car to the dealership and not have them check everything on the vehicle, right? So that's what Brightside did...they checked for everything ""under the hood"" per se. As far as the pipe replacement and everything else they fixed, they made sure my tenants were not inconvenienced at all. This was a 3-day job, and Anthony made sure everything was operational for my tenants before he left at the end of each day. He was also very familiar with what all my insurance company needed as proof of the work. I cannot thank Anthony and Brightside enough for the services they provided!! A+++++ absolutely. I've found my ""forever"" plumber and it's BRIGHTSIDE!

James came out and provided exceptional service. He fixed a messy sink installation and replaced a bunch of unnecessary SharkBite fittings in the basement that we had access to call back for. A small leak was a breeze with one of the PEX fittings and they extended it to relieve pressure on the pipe. Great pricing and great service

Bright Side is the only plumbing company I can give a positive review. We have an older home and this wasn't our first issue with plumbing. We had a leak we couldn't locate but James found the problem. It was a complex problem involving old copper drains in unbelievably tight places. James and his assistant, Tristan, worked tirelessly and accomplished the impossible. They are professional and we appreciated the way they kept us informed.

Also, an actual person answered the phone and they had the plumber here in about an hour. I'm posting this because for once, the plumbing experience was positive. Also thought the price was reasonable.

We had a slightly mysterious issue with our kitchen drain, but what wasn't mysterious was the obvious back-up! DALTON was great, working to solve the problem. His communication was flawless, he arrived exactly as planned, was friendly, clean, and conscientious to the core. Our issue required some out of the box thinking and willingness to think creatively in order to get good results. Dalton did all of those things and more, striving to get our house back in order. You never ""want"" to have to call a plumber, but I am grateful for Dalton, and everyone I talked with at Bright Side. They served us better than expected, at a fair price, and that's something to be proud of. Thank you. I'll be calling in the future if needed and will tell my friends and family.

I called to make an appointment for the ""$49"" drain cleaning special. The plumber looked at the clogged drain in my garage without attempting an actual repair then quickly began looking through his computer to write a new quote for $200 . I was told that the floor drain didn't qualify for the special pricing. Can't say that I'm surprised. Can anyone recommend an honest plumbing company in the KC area? I can't believe all these companies are so dishonest.

I just want to say how thankful and grateful I am that I have crossed paths with this company Brightside and the technician named Bradley who came out and serviced my home today. What seem to be something out of reach for me and my family turned into a blessing in disguise. I am truly thankful for Bradley for his customer service, I am thankful for his authenticity and the genuine concern and emotions he shared with me without even knowing. I didn't have a corporate giant/person come to my house today, I had a real life human/person. Bradley you are the GOAT. You made my day and I am forever grateful, you lifted weight off my shoulders. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for taking care of me and my family and thank you for going out of your way to make sure you offered the best customer and quality service. A customer can ask for -- if you are reading this review, I pray you get as lucky as me and you get Bradley to come out to your home. Great guy, great service, efficient.

Incredible experience! A real person answered the phone (no primitive AI). A non-emergency, btw. Got same day appt...wait, it gets better. A really nice guy who fixed my plumbing in a short period of time. & the charge was exceptionally reasonable. They hve a really well done web site, which made some great promises (always the case). BUT they exceeded the hype. I'm an old geezer & hve seen such level of service go downhill decade after decade; not the case here. This is Old School! My house is going on 130 years old & my pipes hve been Jerry-rigged many times; so it took a pro. Read some of my other reviews just to know that I seldom dispense undeserved accolades. Let this review be my thank you letter

Had terrific service that went far and beyond what would be typical from James G from Bright Side. I had made a mistake in the toilet I ordered. He was very patient with me as he figured out what I needed and rearranged his schedule while I returned the mistake and got what I needed. When he finished his other appointment, he returned to install the correct toilet. I haven't come across any other company that would be so accommodating

Plumber they sent apparently can only work on new plumbing items.
Beware if you own older house. Rude and broke first thing he touched. Don't be fooled by all the positive Yelp reviews. No FREE estimates as advertised. $200 trip charge and plumber told me he couldn't give me an estimate.
