Dont do business with this company. Brick Street gave us an estimate specifically stated that the inspection and permit are included in the price. However, after the installation, the company is ghosting us and refuses to return any calls nor complete the work. Stay away from this company. They are not honest. The company wont even respond to the Better Business Bureau inquiry.
What kind of business is this?! First they gave me an appointment for Wednesday and did not show up. Then they gave me another appointment for Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm (some window!) and did not show up for that either. I spared time from work for both appointments. Then my insurance called them to see what is going on, and they say they have no record of these appointments, unbelievable! Never again! One star review only because it won't take zero!
Avoid this company. If AHS assigns them to your case, demand a different one. The only time we did not have an issue with them was the very first visit, which ended up being a $3 fix. Over the years everything else with them has been a nightmare. People not showing up on time or showing up inebriated, not ordering the correct parts, submitting false claims and status updates to AHS.
We once forgot to request a different company, and when they came in to 'fix' a slow draining toilet, they pushed the toy that was lodged in further and they managed to scratch up the enamel in the process. They then recommended installing a new toilet for $800. I mean maybe I look like an idiot, or maybe this is calculated behavior on their end.
They show no indication of being in this for customers, they are fine just taking your deductible and providing nothing.
We called AHS and reminded them to please send an alternate company. The issue was solved by the next company in just a few minutes.
The worst company to work with for your plumbing. They lied to my home warranty as I didnt let them inside the house, however, the guy was here and told me he will send the estimate soon to my home warranty about the leak issue I had.
After a month they gave me another appointment, however, they didnt show up the same time as their appointment was requested. Their apponitments are the whole day! But they find a way to come outside 9 am -5 pm !
Avoid this company at any cost!
Won't return repeated AHS attempts to contact them to complete warranty claim. Cut a hole in our ceiling to check for leak, found none and haven't come back out to fix issue since. Has been almost a month. Unacceptable
A Brick Street technician took over a week to submit his false report to our home warranty, resulting in a denial of our claim. He said there was no filter or maintenance record on our hot water heater, when there is clearly a very obvious filter and detailed maintenance record taped to the unit. We spent hours reaching out to Brick Street over and over again pleading with them to submit a correction and that we would send them any evidence they need or welcome them to come back again and were given assurances that Shiloh of the plumbing department would get back to us, but we are getting ghosted. Unacceptable! I
Our warranty company paid them for their time. It feels like a total scam. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars we have spent on bathing and doing laundry outside of the home since we do not have hot water for weeks now waiting for them to get back to us, thinking they would do the right thing and fix their mistakes.
I hardly ever write reviews, but this is so deplorable I hope somebody can be helped from knowing how this company works.
Brandon L.They have set an appointment and changed it after the fact without talking to me two times. The second time I had to waste 40 minutes on hold to talk to a scheduling who began spouting a bogus story about how my appointment was cancelled because of an emergency. She didn't take the time to see that my appointment was over a week away. How many times do they spit out bogus stories to people who get their appointment cancelled?
First impression is this is just another crap AHS contractor.
Abid M.Absolutely the worst company. They'll make the appointment, have you sit at home, not show up and not even bother to tell you that they've canceled your service request.
Melissa L.While there seems to be some bad reviews, we had no problem. Our plumber Rodney was great and didn't make up problems like we have had previous plumbers do so they can overcharge us. He perfectly fixed our issue for us. Water heater as good as ever.
They are terrible. Our hot water heater broke and American Home Shield sent Brick Street Plumbers they wanted an additional 2000 dollars out of pocket to bring our water heater ""up to code"" AHS told us that they would not cover any of those required code upgrades. So I paid for a water heater and upgrades for 2300.00 out of pocket. AHS offered a cash in lieu for wait for it 324.00. That's for parts and labor. Name me a place where you can find a water heater that cheap and labor as well? AHS and Brick Street are in cahoots to rip of customers. This is how they treat their customers. THEY SUCK.
