STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Brick Street Plumbing installed a hot water heater in 1/2020. Unbeknownst to us, it was installed improperly and not up to code and was never inspected after install. It stopped working last week and the same company came out. We were told by the technician that it was an extremely poor and unsafe install job. The fan was not properly attached (they attached it using DUCT TAPE) and therefore the fan wasn't pulling the air out properly which caused the pilot light to flare up causing burns on the outside of the tank and a seared pilot light window. The pipes that take the carbon monoxide out were not even sealed and can be pulled apart and were leaking carbon monoxide. The wrong glue was used as well. We contacted Brick Street Plumbing to ask them to rectify this situation and were told we would be charged $400 for them to install a new hot water heater (which is still under warranty and the manufacturer has already agreed to replace it). We told them that we are not paying $400 to install a new hot water heater when the original one was not installed up to code and was dangerous for us to be living with. They now will refuse to take my phone calls (I have phone records) or call me back. Every time I call I'm told I need to speak with Shiloh who is always unavailable and has yet to call me back. We have been without hot water for over a week now and have two small children. This is completely unethical and has put my family is a bad situation with no water and their unwillingness to remedy the situation.

Avoid at all costs. Very unprofessional. Scheduled me out to next week first appointment with one tech. Then was called and told I would be assigned another tech. Now I'm being told someone can't come out until after noon after being told I would have the first appointment. No thanks. Play the bait and switch with someone else, not me. Read the other reviews and beware.

I have used this company twice thru American Hone Shield. James is professional, very knowledgeable and about his business. He is also educational to his customers, which I appreciate since my knowledge base is healthcare not home improvement. Jody and the other office staff have been exceptional and very helpful with scheduling my appointment. I recommend them.

NEVER...NEVER use this company.... I had a warranty call for a faucet and they told the warranty company that the faucet was a modified faucet. (any replaced faucet from a remodeled kitchen by a licensed person is considered modified by there definition). They knew that... still came out and denied the claim to get the service call fee..... I called and left 4 messages.... Finally they called me back.... and was hung up on..... WOW!!!! what great customer service....

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Our kitchen sink was stopped up and so we have a contract through our homeowners. They scheduled through Brickstreet Plumbing for the next day. The next day a lady from the company called us and said their technician was held up at another job and they needed to reschedule us for the next morning from 8-12. The next morning we received another phone call saying the same exact same thing at 8:05 a.m., this time asking to reschedule to the afternoon. The lady was very nice at first, but when I said people are taking off work to stay home and this company keeps changing these appointments is unacceptable, her whole tone changed. It was 8 a.m., the technician would have just started work and she was calling me as if she was reading a script with exactly what she said the day before. To make matters worse, they didn't call or show up for the afternoon appointment they rescheduled for. I will be calling the homeowners warranty in the morning and asking for another company. People need to stay clear of this company. They are not reliable and this is not the first time we have done business with this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! I gonna call the attorney general's office as well about this company. I think they are doing this to people with homeowners warranties.

Brick Street is highly unethical, has horrific service, and at least one incompetent plumber who had no interest in servicing our AHS claim, only collecting the money to come look at it, telling us he wouldn't do the work, BUT not telling AHS that, so that they could get paid for doing nothing, and dragging this out of 3 weeks, and 3 recalls to the house. We needed up having to pay for the work on our own with another plumber, spending $800 out of pocket because we couldn't get a covered repair taken care of by these CROOKS in over 3 weeks of daily calls. Lying Cheating Scamming, right out of the Brick Street Playbook.

Worst company ever . My home warranty company gave me a free water heater and Brick Street company still charged $1300.00 . They included in charge carbon monoxide detector . Did not get any detector , had my furnace replaced by a different contractor . Carbon monoxide detectors were installed . Always get your work inspected .

Like others, we were assigned Brick Street Plumbing through our (now canceled) home warranty. The technician showed up with minimal equipment (a 25 foot snake and a plunger) and actually suggested that we call a different company that would have the equipment to help us with our issue.

Boy I sure wish I had seen these reviews of Brick Street Plumbing would have save much stress . Agree one star is much too much. AHS awarded their services to replace my hot water heater. The repairman sent saw a thermal coupling which had been hidden under the heater from a previous install 10 yrs ago. He immediately took the stance that I must have had work done recently. I assured him I had not. He stated don't worry you'll get a new hot water heater through AHS anyway. I assured him that was not the issue and did not see the coupler previously and had not had any work done since the 10 years since replacing it. His responce ""that's your story stick to it"". AHS agreed to replace the water heater my out of pocket to install and bring up to code by adding expansion tank $1,100.00. same tank that cost $40.00 at Lowe's.

I purchased a water heater from Home Depot and they subbed out BrickStreet plumbing to install.
The technician, a licensed plumber, installed the hot water heater without leaving any room to open the humidifier. Despite my wife informing him to leave room, one would think that a licensed plumber would know. Still installed with an issue.
I had my local service provider check all my systems, but he was unable to inspect the humidifier because he couldn't open the cover since the tank was installed too close.

I left 3 voice mails and never got a response. I decided to attempt to resolve one more time before going direct to Home Depot customer service and got Cristy on the phone. She told me she would discuss with her manager and get back to me. 4 days later, I followed up with her, and she said that her manager said it would be $800 to move the heater 5"" to the right. I indicated that it should've been installed properly the first time. I also indicated that I left 3 voicemails previously and didn't get any call backs. I asked her to have her manager call me to discuss. Never got a call.
3 days later, I check in with her again and she told me that she passed the message on and that he's not going to call me and there's no discussion. $800 to fix the mistake they made.

So, before I deal directly with Home Depot, I wanted to post this review and pictures. I now see why this company has a 1-1/2 star rating with the general public. The manager won't discuss their installation mistake, failure to return calls, and stand behind the work they do.
