Brian's Plumbing
Company Overview
If you're dealing with a heating or hot water issue, we're here to help. We provide services for boiler repairs, water heater servicing, and hot air furnace repairs. Unlike other companies, when we say we offer 24-hour service, we truly mean it. Day or night, we'll be there to answer your call. We provide emergency plumbing services.
I launched my plumbing service to provide a unique level of service. We combine industry know-how with cutting-edge solutions, while still operating a personal, family-run operation. In a world where companies grow larger and personal connections fade, the personal touch often disappears. We aim to offer the benefits of a big business alongside the individualized service of a family business.
With ten years under our belt, we specialize in the minor tasks that some plumbers avoid as they aren't lucrative. We proudly consider ourselves a traditional, owner-run company with competitive pricing.

Brian unclogged the drain and replaced my garbage disposal in less than an hour. I called at 9:00 am he was here at 11;00 after picking up the new disposal we ordered online at The Home Depot. Prices are fair and I'm happy to say we have a new plumber!
Scam. Asks for a deposit and never shows up again. He explains ""he was in hospital, his partner was sick"" and etc. and no refund. Be careful!!!!!!
I called Brian's Plumbing for a job and they came right out. They were very professional and they were able to get the parts and get the job done that day so I didn't have to go without heat and hot water. Their prices were very fair. I will be calling him again for other work.
Hired him through thumbtack. Took $900 of my money. Has not the job a returned a single penny. After months of saying he will refund me - I havent gotten a single penny back. Thumbtack deleted his account as well.
Adnil K.WARNING,WARNIG,WARNING..
I wish I could give minus -100 stars
I WILL BE ISSUING A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST HIM
DO NOT HIRE HIM EVEN IF HE OFFERS TO DO IT FOR FREE..HE WILL BREAK IT FOR YOU.
Big time con artist, crook, lair and a thief...
I failed to read reviews..scroll to the 15 not recommended reviews...
Brian O,
(my ethics prevent me from putting full name but you will find it in other reviews, especially the NOT RECOMENDED ones)
He may not have given me his license number but it was not hard to obtain it from the city. His license is expired as I have come to find out. (Public records)
Again, my ethics stop me from publically listing his license number here, not even sure if I am allowed, but it is public records and anyone can obtain it from the mass gov website..if you want it, go look it up...
This will help when I submit my complaint to the better business Beauro and the department of plumbing licensure..
I have collected and printed all those reviews to back up my complaints..all of them are differnet variations of the same complaint and mine is no different..you can see the pattern clear as day light...that many of us can't be making it up. We have all fallen victims to his scam.. He can't be allowed to do this to people. We all work hard for our money.... NOT HIM
You will notice at the bottom, there are three reviews that have been removed because they violated yelp rules..two of those three are by a Brian O...take a guess who that might be. I have also saved the entire history of my texts with Brian and I will be submitting those as well. I believe that backed by all these reviews and the fact that his license has expired, I stand a good chance...
I am no longer doing this because of the money..even though, I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK...this is now about principle...I was going to let it go, cut my losses and get someone else, till I read all these reviews and saw how many people he has robbed..THIS HAS TO STOP...
Ofcourse, I still have to find someone else. I don't want him anywhere near me or my home.
If you are someone who got scammed and want to join, feel free to contact me..
Let me tell you why those reviews are considered not recommended...these reviews are usually made by people who normally do not have the time or not in the habit of writing reviews...for someone like them or me, there are two reasons that will fuel us to take the time out of our busy schedule..
1 : superb results, very impressed and want to share and have others enjoy what I did and as well as support a business that displays exceptional customer service and delivers quality product..
2 : beyond disappointed, exceptionally horrid and our goal is to prevent others from falling victims of a scam or prevent them from being on the receiving end of the bad experience we went through.
Yelp likes to mainly post reviews made by serial reviewers..people who are constantly online and have the time..One time reviewers are most of the time, but not always, filed under the not recommended folder and are not posted as visibly as reviews made by people who engage in more than one or two reviews...they may not be as visible but they are still there if you look. And in no way does it mean that all the not recommended reviews are false or without merit...
For me, I will only make time when I am exceptionally pleased or horrified,,, I am in the customer service industry and this is beyond beyond horrifying..
So please read the reviews because they are true..I am another one who got scammed...I will be issuing a formal complaint ..
Earth T.He is a scam. Shows up for a quote, takes deposit and no-show after that. Doesn't give the license number with excuses. Call him or text, but his explanation for no show was he'd be in hospital and his partner isn't licensed. He uses different names such as Ronin Plumbing (& Heating), Brian Ronin Plumbing (& Heating), Bryan Renaud and etc.
We fell victim to his scam! He fixed the first problem, pipe burst under house, fixed in two days. Then said he could help us redo the bathroom downstairs.
He could start next week, we demoed the walls and took everything out, he never showed for a week. Finally called his partner in hospital, then excuses after excuses for another two weeks. ""we will be there Monday 100%, no showed for three datys, n call, nothing! Finally showed last week for three days, said he would not take on more jobs until he finished our place. Hasn't been back. We call Monday said his Dr told him not to work because he had a scratch and it might get infected, said he would let us know about Tuesday. When my husband called him Wed he said he was waiting for the electrician to come and finish his work. Which has nothing to do with the huge hole with a pile of dirt beside it and unfinished plumbing, exposed pipes and he won't answer his phone, no communication about when he will finish. I guess it's small claims court for us!!
Came out within a couple of hours to give a quote and take a deposit for a project and we scheduled the date for the work a few days later.
1) Didn't show -- didn't call. Said his partner had to be in hospital. He'd call next week
2) Next week -- didn't call
3) Set a new appointment. Didn't show--didn't call
4) Called him up and he suggested he would be there. Didn't show -- didn't call
5) Asked for money back. He called and said his partner was in hospital but set appointment.
6) Didn't show -- didn't call.
7) Days later, they called me and scheduled an appointment and then didn't show up or call
I think it's a scam, not a business.
He is a bad unprofessional Guy with full of scam. He looks like small plumber and do not even know the boiler installation experience. He took the contract to install the boiler on my house. After taking deposit, he completely changed. Before contract and half of the contract payment he said he will complete the installation right away but after taking the payment he completely changed. I lost the deposit. Beware of this guy. He is real scam and he always lie. He always say he do next week but after next week again he says next week and goes on and on. His intention is take the deposit then not to perform his job. I did not read his review before the contract , when i read the review another guy also lost $4000. Please read this link as well. http://businessfinder.masslive.com/reviews-ronin-plumbing-malden-ma.html
Brian is your old school local go to plumber guy! Not like a big name company that will send you subs who screw you over. He is the real deal. You call him and he is the one who gets it done. I bought a water heater from a store and the installation cost they quoted me was 2x the cost of the unit! I called few places and most won't even do install unless it was bought from them. Others charge a lot on a fairly simple job of replacing the water heater with similar one. He gave me a good quote and that's what it was at the end. No hidden extra fees except that he told me that I would have to put a chimney cement around the metal pipe myself which cost me about $13 from the store. Otherwise he offered to do it for an extra fee. I was happy to save the money and did it myself after they left. If you are in Malden or adjacent area call Brian.
