Brian Feeney Plumbing
Company Overview
Expert in residential plumbing. Plumbing repairs, replacements, and minor renovations.
After spending six years at a reputable plumbing firm in Mill Valley, I launched my own company in 1991. I am based in El Cerrito, but I serve Alameda, West Contra Costa, and Alameda County. Before entering the plumbing field, I was in retail management, obtained a B.S. in management from U Mass Boston, and served in the USAF.
It has been a joy to assist so many wonderful individuals in significant ways throughout this amazing Bay Area. I consider my strengths to be my true dedication to clients, my determination to handle difficult jobs, and my candid approach. I tend to shy away from hiring employees, opting to do all the work myself, which can sometimes delay my availability.

Vera B.I usually don't write reviews on yelp, but after Brian fixed our water pressure and a few other plumbing problems I've thought it would be a nice thing to do. He is an excellent plumber and I would highly recommend him. His hour rate is very reasonable, he knows his crafts and he kept all of his appointments.
Helen S.Brian really saved my bacon yesterday afternoon! I've been having trouble with a stubborn water heater that was only working sporadically for the past week & a half. My tenants were (justifiably) rather annoyed. I had already had 2 separate repairs during the first week by another plumber, but they just didn't fix the problem. A 2nd plumber came out yesterday morning but said he would be unable to fix the heater until the following week. As plumber #3, Brian got the call around 1:30 PM, & by 4:30 PM he had the water heater repaired - and it's functioning properly now! He's now my go-to plumber for any future issues that may arise!
I had Brian install soft copper water mainline between my house and the water meter.
His estimate and final bill were exactly what he said, he finished the work in one day and did a great job at 1/3 of S. Waters plumbing which put in the original line that failed.
Any time I need a plumber again I'll call Brian
Brian has worked on every plumbing issue in our small house & we love him and his work. He re-did our kitchen drain- a big, complicated job- about 6 years ago, and we have not had a problem with it since. He put in a new toilet and sink for us in the bathroom two years ago, perfect, no problems. Replaced our water heater also. Can't find a better plumber and great prices too.
Brian came out twice (on time both times) and did some very tricky diagnostic work where other plumbers had failed. He even pointed out unrelated plumbing issues as he noticed them, and offered ideas for low-cost fixes. Then he outlined two possible solutions for my job, and recommended a larger outfit for the type of work I needed done.
I couldn't believe how gracious and honest he was. He put in a ton of thorough, detailed troubleshooting work for free, then was honest enough to refer me to a company that had the resources and equipment needed for such a big job. I would trust Brian with anything, and I will definitely call him again.
Brian just left my house after completing a quite complex plumbing job, and I was so impressed with his work that I decided to immediately write up this review to Yelp and give him the 5-Star rating that he deserves. I have used Brian twice before and each time he never fails to impress me with the quality of his work, his open and straight-up
manner, and his dedication to giving the unexpected extras that make his work superlative. Brian is the ""real deal"" if you are looking for an honest human being with integrity and not just someone you can't be sure about. He is my plumber from now on for sure! Thanks, Brian. You're the man! By the way, his phone numbers are (415) 302-5275 and (510) 685-1187, and he works in Alameda, Contra Costa, and Marin Counties.

Damon H.I was referred to Brian by a friend. I called him and he came right out to look at my problem (leaking tub turner-on-thingy). He gave me same day service. Thanks Brian.
Our heating contractor suggested we have Brian Feeney come out and look at our galvanized plumbing as he thought it might need some replacing. As we had several faucets leaking, we called Brian to come out and assess the situation. After inspecting all our plumbing underneath the house, he recommended only two small fixes that *really* should get taken care of. As far as all the galvanized, he said it was not appearing as if it was going to start leaking anytime soon and we might only want to do s/t now if we felt our water pressure is too low (and gave us a lot of detailed information about what is outdated under the house.) He did a great job on the old faucets and was reasonably priced. After a few awful experiences with plumbers from big companies, we feel like we found our first really honest and competent plumber. He has a (415) phone number, but he is actually located in El Cerrito. If only there were more guys out there with Brian's work ethic. To top it off, he's a nice guy to boot....
bob k.I highly recommended Brian at Brian Feeney Plumbing. He just installed a tank less water heater in my house and it is fantastic. Not only did Brian offer the lowest estimate he did the job on time and at the price quoted. Very professional, clean and friendly. Thank you Brian
Sturgis Q.An honest plumber is not a concept with Brian. I have been using him for over four years!
The best way to describe him is by this story... I bought my house and my real estate agent gave me a Home Warranty. Had some plumbing issues and thier plumber said it was not under the warranty (surprise surprise surprise) and it would run $5,000! Thinking I am being taken to the woodshed, I asked a neighbor if he knew a good plumber. Viola - Brian Fenney. He came out and I told him what (I thought) I needed and he asked ""why!?"" I told him and he said, no all I needed was this..... $800 fix!
Although it lists him in San Rafael, I am in Oakland and he has come out many times to me
'nough said.
Without hesitiation I call and recommend Brian. His contact phone number 415-302-5275
