Brian Feeney Plumbing
Company Overview
Residential plumbing specialist. Repairs, replacements, and small-scale remodels in plumbing.
Having worked for a distinguished plumbing business in Mill Valley for six years, I established my own venture in 1991. While my base is in El Cerrito, I cover areas including Alameda, West Contra Costa, and Alameda County. Prior to my plumbing career, I worked in retail management, earned a B.S. in management at U Mass Boston, and was a member of the USAF.
I take pride in helping numerous great people in meaningful ways across this beautiful Bay Area. My strengths include a sincere dedication to my customers, a strong determination to complete tough tasks, and an honest demeanor. I tend to shy away from hiring employees, opting to do all the work myself, which can sometimes delay my availability.

Brian Feeney has been tackling and solving plumbing issues at my home for over 12 years. Some were major (completely repiping the plumbing in copper) and some trivial (fixing a dripping faucet). All his work has been done efficiently at a reasonable cost, plus we've had many an interesting chat during and after the jobs. As his motto states: Sometimes all you need is One Good Plumber.

Brian is prompt, professional, knowledgable and well priced. I will definitely use Brian's excellent services again.

Super honest. As opposed to coming out and charging me to fix a minor issue he talked me through what I need to do on the phone and I fixed my issue myself in 5 minutes. Thank you Brian!

Brian is a great guy and has a ton of integrity, and is a skilled plumber. Highly recommended.

Brian was excellent, nice, and very reasonable. He was quick to call me back unlike some of the plumbers who never called me back. My mom's flapper had to be replaced on the toilet which he did a fantastic job. The main job that I called him for was the bathtub hot water. Sediment was obstructing the hot water from coming through the faucet so only droplets of water was coming out. He fixed it and voila, another happy customer!!! I will use him again and again!! Thanks Brian!!!!

While I can't comment on Brian's plumbing work, I called and left a message on July 4th after accidentally puncturing a hot water pipe. And he called me back ... from Boston! .. to let me know he was out of town for the next few days and wanted to make sure I'd found someone else. Now that's service. I'll definitely call him next time I need work ... and hopefully not on a major national holiday!

Brian is the ONLY plumber I call, the only one you will ever need and here's why:
1) He's honest.
2) He calls you back and shows up promptly, even if you're hysterical on the phone because there's water leaking or water not draining.
3) His hourly rate is very reasonable.
As an added bonus, he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and makes sure everything is neat and tidy when he leaves. You really can't ask for someone more conscientious about his craft.

I usually don't write reviews on yelp, but after Brian fixed our water pressure and a few other plumbing problems I've thought it would be a nice thing to do. He is an excellent plumber and I would highly recommend him. His hour rate is very reasonable, he knows his crafts and he kept all of his appointments.

Brian really saved my bacon yesterday afternoon! I've been having trouble with a stubborn water heater that was only working sporadically for the past week & a half. My tenants were (justifiably) rather annoyed. I had already had 2 separate repairs during the first week by another plumber, but they just didn't fix the problem. A 2nd plumber came out yesterday morning but said he would be unable to fix the heater until the following week. As plumber #3, Brian got the call around 1:30 PM, & by 4:30 PM he had the water heater repaired - and it's functioning properly now! He's now my go-to plumber for any future issues that may arise!

I had Brian install soft copper water mainline between my house and the water meter.
His estimate and final bill were exactly what he said, he finished the work in one day and did a great job at 1/3 of S. Waters plumbing which put in the original line that failed.
Any time I need a plumber again I'll call Brian
