Propane valve failed in single digit weather - no hot water, house at sub 60. The Brewer team overcame supply issues, and located a replacement valve (drove for it - hours away), coordinated with Taylor to sort some pressure issues and had us straightened away in 24 hours (first estimate was 3-5 days). Special recognition to Amanda, Collin, Tom - pleasant professional and a sense of urgency. Always happy with these guys

I recently bought a new house and needed to replace my HVAC system on the 2nd floor. Brewer replaced the first floor system for the prior owner so I invited them to submit a bid. Tom came out to to review the scope of work needed and told me he would get me an estimate the following day. One week later and I received no estimate. I called the office and left a message. I never received a response. They obviously don't want your business.

I'm so disappointed. I hate giving low reviews but this experience was so awful I needed to share. The guys came out to clean my oil furnace. I was a new customer and honestly this was the first time I was getting this furnace cleaned. The furnace is older as my home is an older home but I explained my heater worked fine it was just very dirty. They spent 2 hours cleaning the furnace. This was the allotted time when they were finished they said they couldn't in good consciousness turn my furnace back on. They claimed my heat exchanger had cracked and was leaking dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. They said they took all the measurements and the installation team would call me with a quote for a new furnace and since this is winter this would be treated as an emergency. They left. I got a call from Tom and he proceeded to get my email to send me a quote and explain that I would probably also need a chimney insert and he would need to come out for more measurements. After a while of going back and forth trying to at least get a range of prices on the phone. I finally settled to get a timeline. If he came out the next day he could get the measurements check my chimney, the order the new system....4 days minimum before installing. 4 days without heat, 4 days while snow was expected and might delay this more. Then he also tried to talk me into investing into a new system changing from oil heat to natural gas but I would have to negotiate from peco to run the lines and he's heard people talk peco down from $7k to $350. So while I'm in the middle of what I consider a panicked induced sales pitch. I ask him what I'm supposed to do between now and the earliest they can get to me with an installation. I was told oh you can hook it back up and turn it on as long as you have a CO2 detector. I have that but how do I hook it back up? He said, ""Go ask your father in law"". This man doesn't know me or my family his company not only turned off the furnace from the electric box, they disconnected the wires in the motor and turn the oil valve off. I was planning on becoming a regular customer. I was getting planning on looking at getting a new furnace with them but the Moment I was dismissed with go ask your father in law I realized I was being sold a crock. They wouldn't show me the crack if there is one. I figured out how to turn my furnace back on. And my CO 2. Detector isn't blaring. They are getting 2 stars because they showed up on time and the furnace got cleaned and is working better than before. But really if my furnace was broken beyond repair why clean the whole thing. That's like going to the mechanic and him changing the oil but telling you that it needs a new engine. I will be getting a second option and I will never ever use this business again and I will tell everyone my experience

Twice in the past year I've had emergency plumbing issues and Brewer Heating and AC was able to schedule same-day visits. Their service team is polite and they work expeditiously. Both service men showed up on time and also took the time to explain the work they were doing with patience and respect. They are my go-to plumbing company.

I owned an old Victorian that Brewer Heating and Air serviced. They kept the old system alive until eventually I needed a new heating and air unit. Brewer did an exceptional job -- was competitively priced and the installation went off without a hitch. They're respectful of your property i.e., always wore booties, left the area very clean, made sure their ladders didn't ding walls, office was helpful, etc. I also tapped into their 'maintenance' plan and it was worth it -- they service your units 2x/year and if you ever have a problem, you're at the top of their list. All around a good company to work with regardless if you have an old or new home.

I had the best experience with Brewer Heating and Cooling! They know what they are talking about and they had the best quote. A better known company (and bigger) added thousands to their quote to replace R22 tubes. Brewer added hundreds. The work is quality and they were finished installing our new air conditioner with new tubing by early afternoon. Really nice people!!
