Company Overview

For affordable and high-quality plumbing, choose Brendan Walsh Plumbing in Clifton Heights. Count on us to address any plumbing or heating challenges you face. Reach out to us today.

Brendan was raised in the Delaware County region, specifically in Clifton Heights. After gaining experience at a large corporate plumbing firm and witnessing their customer service practices, he felt compelled to provide better service and security to clients. Thus, he launched his own plumbing venture, initially called the Drainman.

For 25 years, Brendan has been dedicated to serving clients in Delaware County and along the Main Line. He is a master plumber and a pioneer in the plumbing industry.

Brendan is among the few plumbers offering trenchless sewer and water services. The advantage of trenchless technology is that it preserves your property, unlike traditional digging methods. Years ago, replacing sewer lines meant tearing up your yard, often incurring significant landscaping expenses.

I had an emergency appointment scheduled with this company and they did not show up and not even the courtesy to call and let us know. Unprofessional services. Avoid this company.

For over a year my house has had waste coming from my sump pump. Throughout the year I have had six separate visits from various plumbing companies. (I had to use the ones my insurance company was sending) They all told me that there is ""no crack in the sewer line"".
and that the sump pump is too far away from my sewer line for the waste get into it and that it was just draining what it should be draining- excess rain water.

They would then clean the lines and leave. For a year, I was having issues; getting foul smells, a gnat problem, neighbors that were very unhappy about that was draining from underneath my house.

Then I called Brandon Walsh plumbing and I spoke to Danny. I told him everything I told the previous plumbers - the soapy water that came out of sump pump, that it was going off all of the time even when there wasn't rain, the bugs and the odor. I begged him to please help me. I told him I have young kids and this is a health hazard and I need help getting this fixed.

He assured me he would find the problem and sure enough within 45 minutes of him coming to my house, he found a crack in the line that took dish washer/sink water to the main sewer line. After his diagnosis of the issue, within the next 72 hours, it was fixed! This company is WONDERFUL! Having someone take the time to listen to me and work with me to figure out was wrong and to get it fixed so quickly is very uncommon and I am so grateful for what Danny and this company has done for my home. Courteous, on time and professional! Highly recommend!

It pains me greatly to write this review, because Brendan Walsh Plumbing was a good company for many years. Unfortunately, it seems they've gone way downhill, and I feel it's my duty to warn others so that you don't end up paying a lot of money for still-broken plumbing. I have used Brendan Walsh plumbing a few times in the past and had never had a problem until recently. I called them due to several near-simultaneous leaks in my kitchen ceiling, kitchen sink, problems with my toilet, and water leaking under my bathtub liner. I will try to give a synopsis of what happened after that. They sent one of their plumbers and he looked at my kitchen ceiling which had water pouring through it, and said I would probably have to put the job under insurance. I called my insurance company and they sent out an adjuster. On the day the adjuster came, Brendan Walsh also came to my home and met the insurance adjuster. I told them all the things that were wrong and they went upstairs to look at the bathroom after viewing the kitchen. They chatted upstairs for about 15 minutes and came down, and I asked them if the job would be covered by insurance. The adjuster said he though everything would be, and that he would wait for the ""plumbing report"" after Brendan finished the complete diagnosis of all the problems. After that, Brendan's guys began working on fixing all the multiple leaks, draining the bathtub liner, unclogging the toilet which overflows constantly (and still does), fixing the bathroom sink which was also making a strange noise, replacing the entire three piece bathtub faucet and handles, and fixing whatever was causing the leaking under the bathtub liner. At every step of the way, which lasted multiple visits over a couple of weeks, I paid every invoice they sent me, totaling about $2,000. Every time I spoke with Brendan he reassured me that this would all be covered by insurance and that I might even need a brand new bathroom floor but that he was still looking into it. He also said he had someone who could fix the damaged kitchen ceiling. All along he told me that everything would be reflected in the plumbing report, including any estimates for the floor or if need be, and that's what I would submit to insurance. The holidays hit and every time I called and asked him when he would be sending someone for the ceiling and remaining work, he said they were too busy with the holidays and he would get back to me. The holidays came and went. Prior, the plumber had been out to my house approximately four to five times to work on the job. They ended up draining the tub out twice because the first repair didn't work. At this point, the major leaks were fixed except for the bathtub, so I asked for the report to submit to the insurance company. In the meantime, a few days after the second repair of the bathtub liner, water again began leaking under the liner and my toilet again began backing up. The caulk they had placed began peeling and cracking. I called numerous times, each time speaking directly with Brendan, and each time asking for the plumbing report to submit to insurance. Every single time, he said he would have his office staff email me the report. My husband even called, and Brendan said the same thing: that he was surprised his office hadn't gotten the report to me yet, and he would make sure they did. He also said he would address the rest of what needed to be done and would get back to me. After two months, my insurance company closed the claim since they'd received no report. I decided that since the claim was closed, and I was fed up with waiting, I would ask Brendan for a refund for the bathtub which is still leaking tons of water underneath the liner, and I would just eat the rest of cost and forego dealing with insurance since the claim was now closed. I wrote an email and received the most bizarre response back. This started a series of nearly-incomprehensible emails from whom I can only assume is the office manager. She started off by falsely claiming that I ""never had an insurance adjuster come to my home."" She then falsely claimed that I ""never asked them for a report."" She then claimed I ""never called their office."" I told her I spoke with Brendan about six times and each time he assured me the insurance report was on its way. She then claimed that I was ""asking them for a false report."" Let me be clear: at no time did I ever ask for a ""false"" report. I would have no way of knowing what a ""false"" plumbing report would even include. I am not a plumber and have no experience with it. She then stated that I wouldn't be getting a refund and that she was ""closing out the jobs"" in her system. To sum up, I am left with a backed-up toilet, a kitchen ceiling with a huge filthy hole in it, and so much water leaking into my bathtub, it feels like I'm stepping on a water bed. I am also out $2,000. Please avoid using this company. I think something is perhaps mentally wrong with the office manger.

Got a quote from Craig with Brendan Walsh plumbing, unlike the other plumbers who came out and either took too long to get back with a quote or never got back at all, Craig came ready to work shortly after the quote which was same day. These guys replaced all of my lower level drain pipe in a few hours. I was happy with the work and price was fair. I will likely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I gave this company 5 stars because they deserve it. Plain and simple. I had quite a few plumbers come try to fix our issue and they couldn't get the job done. I called Brendan Walsh Plumbing and they came in solved the issue in no time saving me tons of time and money. Very fast, reliable, and friendly service. We will not be using anybody else except these guys from here on out!

I had a issue where I needed a new cartridge on my bathtub faucet. They were very responsive and a guy came right away the same evening I called and made the repair in about 15 minutes. A month later the same issue occurs where the faucet won't stop running (bad cartridge). I call BW to see if they have some sort of warranty on their work and no one bothers to respond to my calls or emails. Bad for business!

I had a clog in my sewer line and I decided to contact a local business rather other than Roto Rooter. I contacted Brendan Walsh Plumbing who came out to my house the same day and fixed my issue. This is the only good thing I can say about their service.

Unfortunately, most items discussed with the receptionist / dispatcher was allegedly never communicated to the service crew who arrived at my house. I noted that I wanted my sewer line cleared and I that was interested in having a camera placed into my sewer line along with a having a leaky sink faucet fixed in my basement. I asked for a time frame as to when I should expect someone to arrive at my house. I TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST THAT I LIVED DOWN THE STREET FROM MY WORK (LESS THAN 4 MINUTE WALK) AND REQUESTED A CALL WITHIN 15-30 MINUTES OF THEIR ARRIVAL. Needless to say, I was not home when the crew arrived to fix my clogged sewer line, my wife was home and had no idea as to what needed to be completed. In addition, I also requested a larger auger (4 inch - 3.5 auger) to clean my line, it was noted that a 2inch auger was used to remove the roots). I was also advised that they were able to accept a credit card but upon arrival the crew had my wife scrambling through the house to find a check. I handle the finances and structural issues around my household. Brendan Walsh Plumbing let me down. I will not be using their services going forward.
