Crooks for sure. I hired them to install our Geothermal unit in out home 10 years ago. I spent close to 40 thousand dollars for the installation. I called them for service. My Aircondioning portion of the unit is in need if service. They refused because I didn't pay them the excessive ram some fees they charge their customers for their service contract. Can you imagine wanting to charge me a service contract fee while under a warranty program.

Breen & Sullivan originally installed our A/C unit in our condo, before we took ownership, so naturally we called them when we had the need for service. That was a mistake. I should have asked local friends for a recommended service company.
They have serviced our unit twice in the past year. For future needs, we will not be calling them again.
Unfortunately, we've gotten the same tech on both calls. While we are sure that he is competent in his mechanical abilities, we have issues with his time management and his leaving a mark cleanliness wise.
He stretched out both visits a lot. He spent a good amount of time on both visits going to his truck - which was out of sight, in back of the house. I am pretty sure that another tech could have done what he did in half the time, on both visits. And as we are being charged by the hour, the cost then doubles.
On the visits, we had issues with 1. marks on our deck, left by a bucket or can, and 2. fingerprints (soiled gloves?) on our newly painted exterior A/C tube cover.
We addressed the deck marks of the first visit with the company. Their service manager insisted that his techs put down a work blanket when working in sensitive areas. We saw nothing resembling that on either visit.
We are not bothering calling the company and discussing the second visit. Next time, we will do the smart thing, and go with a highly recommended company.

I recently moved to a condo in Ayer Mass. Was told Breen has the contract to support this condo. Called numerous time and got a message the voicemail is full goodbye. Called again and selected 0 for operator and said what I did. Operator said as someone would call me. Three months later no call back. Would not recommended these people.

This company and the tech were great in coming out and fixing my central air. AFter that it went downhill quickly. I could not get a copy of their warranty. I asked for a service contract which they kept saying they would get back to me. I asked them to come out to look at a plumbing problem. After calling everyday for a week, the owner called me back as rudely as possible, saying they didnt think they wanted to do business with us and that they werent inclined to give us a service agreement.

These guys are fantastic! I don't normally write reviews but I feel all too often these days people are so quick to complain but never quick to complement. I am a property manager and had a unit where the heat was not working. After one of our regular plumbers/HVAC companies did some testing turned out that we needed to replace a part that was no longer available which meant the whole unit had to be replaced. After getting some estimates I had Bob over to provide an estimate. Rather than give an estimate on the replacement he wanted to try the repair route and man am I glad we did. Unit is up and running and only cost couple hundred buck instead of several thousand buck. Anytime I got something wrong with HVAC they are going to be my first call!!!
