We had a water heater issue. Called in on Sunday based on a referral and all the good reviews. Was assured a call in 30 minutes. Marc called in about five minutes and was out this afternoon. Someone on yelp called him ""an animal""...fully agree. He's on top of it and good to go. If I could give him a 5+ I would.

I had a water leak in the basement from an unknown source. Mark promptly scheduled a time to evaluate. The leak was tricky to find and Mark was careful and cost conscious as he worked to identify the source. His patience and planning saved me a lot of money as he found and fixed the leak all in the span of a couple hours. He also identified and fixed a second problem I didn't know I had. Mark was super efficient and I found him to be very trustworthy. He will definitely be my go-to plumber in the future!

I would not recommend Marc. He gave us a quote of $1,200 to install a new bathtub. When we asked him to explain the price, he dropped it to $1,000 as a ""one time"" offer. We needed the job done, his other yelp reviews were pretty good, and all the other plumbers we called were booked solid. So we went with him. He sent someone else to do the work (which he didn't tell us would be the case). My Dad was here that day, working elsewhere in the house, and it turned out the guy that Marc sent required my Dad's help for most of the day. At the end of the day, Marc showed up and demanded that my Dad pay him, even though we had arranged beforehand to pay him after we'd gotten home from work and seen the finished job. Bottom line is that Marc may be good at what he does, but he didn't do the work for us, and his dealings with us were less than upfront.

I would highly recommend A-Breakthrough Plumbing. Marc came in the time window he said and got the job done quickly. He is very knowledgable and efficient, and friendly! He will strive to fix your issues in the most economical, yet smart, way possible.

I needed an appliance installed. It required some special parts which Marc carried in his truck. The appluance was expertly installed with alacrity. Just before he arrived we had a plumbing emergency which he handled immediately.
I was very much impressed by Marc's knowledge, professionalism and how well he was prepared to meet our special challenges. Not only that but he was friendly and a pleasure to work with. Marc is my forever plumber

Similar to the person from a recent review, I was quoted one price over the phone and, almost immediately, felt like I was being prepped for the classic bait and switch, with a stern, repeated warning that if ANY extra work had to be done, I would be charged accordingly. The fellas did have to dig a bit extra but, for the most part, the leak and repairs were what and where we suspected. No big surprises there.

I suspect Mark underbid the job and, in an effort to recoup his loss, inflated the final bill to a whopping $500, revealed only after the work was completed. What's more, he swore at and belittled an employee in my presence--not cool! Do yourself a favor and pay a little more money for a lot more decorum and professionalism. If I had it to do over again, that is exactly what I would do.

I hate to write this review but he asked I leave one so... I called mark to come out and fix the pipes under our rental property as they had disconnected and food from our garbage disposal had been collecting under the house (pretty gross) . I told mark all of this on the phone before he came out to do the job. He had quoted me at 300.00 for the work. The morning he came to get started He showed up with another guy who asked to use our bathroom 3 times in an hour and actually pissed on the seat a bit, not joking. Once he was under the house he decided the scope of work was more and said 550. Being a rental home I had to check with the owner before going a head with the work. He was extremely agitated about this to the point of almost yelling at me and got into it with my land lord on the phone. The owner reluctantly approved the work but mark loudly complained the entire time he was here about having to do the job"" the crawl space is too fucking small"" ""it's digesting under there"" ect ect. I didn't tell you to become a plumber? Crawling into small dark gross places is unfortunately part of the career you choose? It was really unprofessional and an all around awful experience. I will not be calling his Comapny again.

We had an emergency and Mark was at our house in an hour. He diagnosed the problems very quickly and accurately, went to work and had everything working better than ever in about another 90 minutes. Very impressive from start to finish. Thoughtful, thorough and excellent at communicating both the problems and the solutions. I am hanging onto his card and while I hope not to need his services anytime soon, I am very grateful I now have the name and number of a terrific plumber.

I was referred to Marc at A-Breakthrough Plumbing and Remodeling as a part of ""get your house ready to sell"" process through our realtor team. We had an old, old water heater and needed a replacement ASAP. Marc gave me a quote over the phone after I sent him pictures measures through text. He came in the same week, was prompt, no nonsense/straight shooter. Fantastic. I would call him again if we had any issues that they are specialists in.
