Got lots of estimates to move gas water heater from laundry room to the attached garage. Settled on Brass Monkey because Nathaniel was very easy to talk to, and he was willing to work with me as I had some special requests about the install.

Setting up appointment and scheduling the work was easy. Install day arrived, Nathaniel and helper (sorry forgot his name?) were very congenial and helpful. I called some audibles by asking for some other things too (outside scope of original requested work) and he was happy to help me out.

Everything went as planned w/o any hitches. Gotta say, best experience I've had w/hiring a plumber!

This is a review of frustration. Brass Monkey has been recommended by several people and seems to have fairly good reviews.

I have now left 3 different messages, both voicemail and with staff, wanting to speak with someone about installing a soft water system. 3 times I was told I would get a call back. 3 times, nothing.

I considered a zero star rating but ended up just deciding that I wanted them, and others to know of my experience.

We've used Brass Monkey twice now. Their technicians are very personable and honest, the pricing fair. I've had no issues with their work, they've fixed two leaky tubs for us. I'd say the company aspect that stands out most is their communication. They've got a fabulous and super-friendly scheduler, and they are diligent and efficient about updating you on times. Nathaniel, Alex, and Aaliyah we're fantastic to work with. We had an immediate need for plumbing help when our PRV(Regulator) starting knocking which caused high pressure and hammering all through our home. I reached out via their website and within the same day (Sunday) Nathaniel called me. He actually tried to help by troubleshooting with me to save myself money and fix the problem. Long story short I couldn't. 4 days later Alex came and diagnosed the problem then replaced our PRV and ensured no other issues were present with our plumbing. 6 other plumbing companies in the area could not come with 3 weeks and Brass Monkey fit us in urgently. Thank you for your integrity and professionalism. Everything was seemless and their pricing was near 300$ less than what other companies quoted us. True family business as they are siblings running their own company.

We hired BM for a bathroom remodel in our home. We would not recommend them or contract them again.

We saw a low level of professional problem solving and capability. They lowered in and installed our extremely heavy bath without first checking the floor was level. Now we have a 3/4 inch tilt in our bath.

They were rude in correspondence to solve this and tried to push the blame to us. Not anything I would ever want to experience again.

The entire operation of Brass Monkey Plumbing blew my expectations out of the water. From prompt and concise communication from their scheduler/planner (Daniel), to the quality of work by Nathaniel (plumber) and his apprentice (Geovanni). I hired Brass Monkey to install a main water shutoff valve in the garage with a pressure regulator. The price was fair, the work quality was excellent, and the project was completed on time. Plus Nathaniel took the time to walk me through a DIY plumbing project I was in the process of completing, including show me the parts and compounds I would need to use. I will definitely use Brass Monkey Plumbing in the future.
