Didn't add a T-trap for the tub drain used a 1.5"""" diameter drain pipe, when code calls for a 2"""" drain pipe. Looked it up and it is correct. Now after just finding issue that they supposed fixed a few years back, having to pay to fix it twice since another plumbing company has to fix it to resolve other plumbing issue... DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT FUTURE ISSUES!!!

Women and older people beware. The owner is a classic used car salesman. He told me that the unit needed to be replaced with a bigger unit than I even needed. He even tried to push financing on me. The price was double what 2 othe companies quoted me. This business is unethical and everyone should know. Don't even do business here. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Do your own repairs or call a friend to make simple repairs. This company charged an elderly widow friend $375.00 to change the seal on a cannister toilet tank valve. When this seal is worn out the water continuously runs because the cannister does not seat properly. The seal costs $5.00 or less and can be found at any plumbing parts supply store. It takes 5 minutes to change the seal. No tools are needed. If you have never made this repair, look it up on You Tube. I wish I had known my friend was having a problem with her toilet before she called Brasington and paid $375.00. I could have saved her $370.00. I realize companies have to charge the amount they see as appropriate to keep their business afloat. We as customers have to spend within our budgets

I have had a service contract with Brasington for several years on a rental home in which I paid $12.95 a month and received 2 services a year. I would use maybe one a year. Recently I requested to have the service contract moved from the rental to my main home. This required a small upgrade in cost because my main home has a mother-in-law suite unit that also needed to be serviced. The service technician came to my home on Thursday and serviced my main unit and shut down my mother-in-law unit after discovering a cracked heat exchange. (I was not aware that it was shut down.) I was not present for the inspection; my husband was. The service tech wrote up an order advising of the cracked heat exchange, advising that the whole unit needed to be replaced because there was the possibility that carbon monoxide could find its way into the home. He provided an estimate of $7500 after discounts and rebates to replace the 2-ton unit. I thought that was on the high side so I requested another opinion. I was advised that that is a very high estimate and was quoted $5500 for replacement and labor by another company. I was also advised that there is no threat of carbon monoxide poisoning if using only the air conditioner part of the unit as there is no heat being used and therefore no gas being used. I purchased a carbon monoxide detector to be on the safe side though. On Saturday, two days after the service, the in-law suite temperature got over 80 degrees. I attempted to turn the unit on and it would not work. The outside air handler would turn on but no air was being pushed through the home. I called the technician who serviced the unit and he advised that for safety reasons, he disabled the unit. I advised him that I sought a second opinion on the carbon monoxide threat and was advised that it is not a threat. He said there was nothing he could do. He also said he did nothing to stop it from working. He said that my husband could vouch for that because he was standing right there. I advised him that my husband is not HVAC certified so he would know nothing of what the service tech did or didn't do. So, I had a working air conditioner prior to him coming out and now I don't. I called Brasington on Monday to advise that I was dissatisfied with how this was handled. At the very least, the technician should have contacted me (as I have been the customer for the last 5 years!) and advised that the unit was being shut down and that I would need to find some other way of heating and cooling the in-law suite until the unit was replaced. However, he did not. It wasn't even written on the order with the quote for $7500. Instead, I had to wait until it reached over 80 degrees in the apartment to find out that I had a non-working unit. I then had to go out and purchase a $300 air conditioner unit as a temporary fix. After advising Marcy(?) on the phone of this issue, she seemed very tight lipped while I expressed my dissatisfaction with how this was handled. Prior to finishing, she interrupted me and said she would be """"glad"""" to cancel my service contract, if that was what I want. I was shocked that she used the word """"glad."""" I don't know about everyone else, but I wouldn't be """"glad"""" to lose any business if I was a small business owner. I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for service. The customer service, not so great, and the technician, apparently not trained very well, as he had to tout his training in order to get me to believe that he was right. I also have to believe that they charge way too much considering that the second quote I got was much smaller.

My husband and I cannot recommend Brasington Heating & Air at all. Our daughter's air conditioner stopped working last Tuesday. They were called on Wednesday and could not look at it until Friday afternoon. When the technician checked the unit which Brasington replaced five years ago, my son-in-law was told they needed a new unit. The technician stated they could put one in for $2600-5500 next. We got a second opinion from Tri-City heating & Air the next day. That technician stated that he didn't understand how Brasington's technician had even been able to check it well enough because he didn't replace the capacitor which was the only thing wrong. He had their air conditioner running just fine! Yeh for Tri-City and thank you!!
