Absolutely, do not use Bradenton Plumbing. We have used them for years with good success. I scheduled a small job for today. Called the company when the plumber was a no-show. Was told plumber could not come for several more days. When I said we were in a bind, the person who answered the phone, got angry and told me they would not service us ... then used the f-bomb multiple times and hung up on me. I called back, and calmly explained our situation. He told me to go """"f*&% yourself."""" I don't know what has happened to this company, but I would avoid them like the plague! Mike P. in Sarasota

Scott and his crew were always the most honest, most knowledgeable, most reliable plumbers I ever worked with as a profession Realtor and a private homeowner. They do good, sound, solid work that will not cause you issues later on and if you are spending your client's money, as I sometimes was, it is nice to know they were also the most fair/economical in prices. All Stars.

Do you want honest, knowledgeable plumbers with over 40 years in the business? This is my CJ Hoover. Their employees are respectful and respectable. You won't be concerned about opening your door to these guys. The part I loved the most is they left the work areas cleaner than they found them. Don't waste time on price shopping. Get it done right the firSt time.

Argh. I used them a couple of years ago to install a new bathroom sink vanity. One of them was particularly talky, which in hindsight was probably just a ruse to beef up the bill since they charge hourly. I didn't really investigate their work since replacing an existing sink with new one doesn't seem that complicated. Well, you need to look at the work and not assume, that is the lesson I learned this week. They did not use standard piping to install this fixture. They used some kind of material that is like a thinner version of the stuff used to make those floaty pool noodles. They wrapped that around the base of the pipe coming out of the wall and joined it to the pipe coming down from the sink. It is fastened with metal ratchet bracket things, things you see used in metal work, not plumbing. Well the noodle has dry rotted or shrunk or something because the water draining from the bathroom sink is just leaking right into the enclosed vanity. I didn't catch this leak right away, it took the water leaking out from under the door of the vanity and come to find the whole thing is rotted and mildewy and needs to be replaced. This is really a piss-poor job. This company should be ashamed of itself. Can't help feeling like they did it poorly because I am a 'dumb female' and wouldn't know the difference. I am so tired of Bradentucky halfwits calling themselves contractors/handyman/plumber/insert-trade-here. Just because you own a hammer doesn't make you a carpenter. Calling yourself a plumber involves more than knowing how to flush a toilet.

They are not good and cheap but they are good. I've used Bradenton Plumbing for 20 years. They are timely, neat and they do expert work. I was unhappy one time with a sink that was installed. After one phone call to the owner he came out, removed the sink and reinstalled it without hassle on my part. I will continue to use Bradenton Plumbing. Scott can be a little gruff but he's not coming over for chicken dinner.

Upon receiving our bill, we called to inquire about a few questions we had with some of the services as well issues from the work that was completed. After that sentence was spoken, Scott (owner) yelled """"that is not my problem"""", """"I expect my money, right away"""" """"that is your problem""""... When I tried to get a word in edge wise, he hung up on me. I write this so people are aware of the customer service that the owner of Bradenton Plumbing gives.

DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Bradenton Plumbing used to be a excellent firm to use but lately their customer service has fallen down to zero. The person that answers the phone and schedules the work is very, very rude, and can only tell you in a unpleasant voice that they are busy, and will be there some time. A real liability to the firm. I live in a condo in Bradenton and will recommend to the developer, and the association, that Bradenton Plumbing be removed from the approved vendor list and will of course not recommend this firm to anyone. A unhappy customer'

My husband called to request assistance with a neighbors who was elderly and in poor health. He gave the gentleman on the phone some specific information so our neighbor didn't have to attempt to go into great detail about his leak. When my neighbor called soon after, the gentleman who answered the phone was rude and curt. It broke my heart to see how upset he was over the phone call. The workers who arrived and completed the job were quite nice and very efficient. When my husband called today, he also caught the disdain from the same gentleman. Needless to say, we regretfully will no longer be using or recommending Bradenton Plumbing in the future.

Unprofessional and poorly managed. No accountability from top to bottom. I called them for a leak under my hot water heater. It was suggested by Scott/owner I should get a new one because repair would not be feasible. I took his advice and scheduled a service call. The tech arrived over two hours late, never did a troubleshoot to find source of slow leak however during work stated he had to leave in an hour for an appointment. Hour later, after installing the h/w heater, he left and left me with a more rapid leaking pipe and water all over my garage floor. They did not cause the leak (the one I called them for) but they did make it much worse and bailed on me. It wasn't the h/w heater leaking after all as Scott suggested. The tech left me his tool to turn water off myself from main valve because he didn't have time to investigate leak or turn water off. Contacted owner who rudely accused me of blaming them for the leak (the one I called them for), became irate at his tech cursing him and then hung up on me. Scott nor his tech never troubleshot to find out exact cause of leak, but rather assumed. Left my family and I without water the rest of that day and overnight, soaked floors and no follow thru on something they made worse. After some further email communication with owner, he called me a derogatory name where as I ended our communication. Poor customer service. Poor management. Poor leadership. Terrible company!!!!! I had to contact another plumber who showed up immediately, diagnosed problem in minutes and fixed the leak. All within 2 hours. Had BP Tech bothered to complete job or cared, they would have completed what they started. Not leave the customer a tool and say i'll pick it up tomorrow, do it yourself. No self accountability from top to bottom!!! btw, the tech was a nice guy, but his moral was terrible due to his """"work conditions and ridiculous demands put upon them"""" as he let it be known.

Unprofessional company.I would never recommend anyone using them. What kind of company tells a customers to shove the invoice up their A$$?
