Chris and Cole came to my house this morning to check my water pressure and leaky faucets outside. They were professional, completed the job quickly, and even showed me a few things along the way! I had a burst pipe between my main water line and the sprinkler line. I am a brand new homeowner and not familiar with the house, so I was completely panicked. Water was flooding everywhere with lots of pressure. It was after 4 pm, so fairly late in the day, but I called the plumber and they arrived within 15 minutes and quickly fixed the issue. Great quality work and really great people. Couldn't be happier with the service. Definitely plan to use them for all work going forward. They more than earned my business after helping me in an emergency.

We loved Thornton Plumbing -been using them since 1987. They were always so prompt when we called, I mean when you call a plumber, you usually don't want to have to wait around. They always sent courteous and professional people to do the job. Their work and the parts that they used were always top notch. The cost was always reasonable. There was NO charge to diagnose the problem. Our problem was their job.

In my experience and opinion, since they have merged with Bradbury...

1. You have to sit through a sales pitch and a long sales pitch about becoming a member of their "club" which they charge for monthly
2. You are no longer assurred of prompt service unless you are a club member. In fact, you are made to feel very much "not worth it" unless you belong to the club
3. Their charges are out of control. There is a $49.00 charge to "diagnose" the problem that by the way we already knew what the problem was - OK just stick a gun in my face and rob me of $49.00 or just call it what it is - we charge you nearly 50 dollars to show up
4. Their charges are ridiculous. They were here around 30 minutes and charged us $170.00 to replace the shut off valve and the water line leading to a commode along with the $49.00 for showing up making the total bill for that simple task a whopping $219.00!

I absolutely am looking for a new plumber. This is not customer friendly. This is not honoring a very long-term relationship. This is not maintaining what was an incredible reputation - a company that really cared about their customers and put them first.

Shane is an experienced plumber, is very nice and explains in detail. I had a washing machine drain installed and it over flowed. I had my sewer lines cleaned out by another company. (Ben Franklin) They said the stand pipe was not to code. I had Bradbury come back out and they said it was the sewer line. Franklin didnt charge me. Bradbury charged me $49,00!!!! I am not a plumber and rely on their expertise. Bradbury couldnt care less about my problem and their office was concerned only with getting $49.00! I would not recommend this company. The plumbers are professional and great but their office is interested in one thing and that is your wallet! There are other companies that I think have a higher customer appreciation factor than the fron office of Bradbury! Caveat Emptor!!!
