We have gotten help from Brad La Verne Plumbing on several occasions and always had a good experience. Pricing is fair, work is efficient and on both occasions he has been willing to offer additional guidance on future projects I am considering. We will definitely hire again!

At the recommendation from my realtor and through my realtor's connection, I was able to meet Jay, who responded to me very quickly after I experienced a mess left behind by another plumber as assigned by my home warranty. Essentially, the problem started out to be a leak from my hot water valve in the garage. The home warranty's plumber came and said that the valves needed to be changed, which I agreed on the necessity. But the home warranty's plumber forcefully turned the valve to the point that the pipe opening was deformed, so the home warranty's plumber could no longer cap the pipe anymore, not to mention installing a new valve. So, the water main had to be shut off for the whole house, and I was left stranded. The home warranty's plumber then suggested to charge me for moving the utility sink in front of the valves (because the sink was heavy) in order to cut open the drywall and examine the options, but there was no guarantee that the issue would be fixed. It was also late in the evening (as the home warranty's plumber repeatedly came to my house last...at 6:30 p.m.) and the home warranty's plumber kept wanting to come back for another appointment. With the whole house's water supply entirely shut off, I was left with helplessness and frustration. This was when Jay showed up and saved the day. First, I was fortunate enough to have an old neighbor (who had the cutting tool) to cut out a small area on the drywall (without moving the sink!) in order for me to understand the magnitude of the problem. When Jay arrived later in the day, given a little time, he was able to take the ""deformed"" part out in order for him to successfully cap both hot water and cold water pipes. His goal was to allow water supply back to the rest of the house, and he did it beautifully (without needing to move the sink as insisted by home warranty's plumber)! He even gave me quite a few helpful pointers in order for me to discuss with my friend, whom he knew would also be helping me fix the long-range problem (i.e., loosening pipe prone to be broken if not re-fastened, replacing the old valves, and properly disposing the old concrete sink). The expertise and skills really showed in Jay's work and his follow-up explanation given to me. And my friend and I were able to use his plumbing tips and address the problems (project still in progress). His pricing was very reasonable. I cannot thank Jay enough to get the water back on for me and my family! I would definitely endorse Jay's specialty and would highly recommend him to anybody with plumbing issues.

Out garbage disposal died last Sunday night and I called Brad Laverne Plumbing and left a message that evening. Jay returned my call the next day and came that afternoon and replaced the disposal. Fast service and a great job at a fair price.
Jay has done other plumbing repairs for us and his work is always excellent. I have referred him to friends and they have been very pleased.
Highly recommended.

Excellent through & professional. I first called Brad La Verne Plumbing a few years ago after I had another plumber who spent a considerable amount of time trying to fix a good-size leak in the kitchen sink area of our Hayward property. Unfortunately the first plumber was never able to find or identify the source of the leak so he was unable to fix it. I called Brad La Vern Plumbing & made an appointment for the next day. Jay came on time, and he was courteous, professional & determined to find the source and fix the problem. His through investigative skills took him up on the roof. I was surprised to learn that's where he found the source of the good-sized leak under the sink. After identifying the source & cause of the leak, Jay had it fixed in no time!!! I have only needed a plumber a few times since then, but I was so impressed of Jay's diligence, knowledge, can-do attitude & problem resolution skills that I have called Jay ever since then.

Jay has worked on at least five of my homes. He is ontime, competiviely priced, efficient and super easy to work with and always has options for price and manufacturers. From water heater installs, dishwashers, sinks, garbage disposals, he does it all! I try never to call anyone else as the work is never as good.

I had a clogged shower and called Jay last night, after hours. He came out this morning and fixed the problem in less than an hour. His rate was really low. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will use him again if I need help!

Jay is absolutely wonderful. He gets back right away. He is honest, fair, precise and the price is right. I highly, highly recommend him. I have used him for many years. When I came up with needing a cap on the main sewer line, he referred me to another who was prompt, fair and did the job for about 1/2 the cost Roto-Rooter quoted. I am thrilled with Jay.
