Our clean-out drain was clogged and our toilets would not flush. I called Brad and he returned my call quickly and came out that same day, which was much appreciated. I immediately lost a lot of "man card" points when I was not able to locate the clean-out entry point when Brad got there, and I was duly embarrassed while I was nervously looking for it with Brad for the first 20 minutes of his visit. I could sense that Brad was losing patience (rightfully) and not having a good time dealing with this idiot (me). I tried to make a little conversation and lighten the mood, but I pretty much got the silent treatment for the remainder of his visit. He finally suggested that he remove one of our toilets and go in from the inside of our house with the auger snake. I realize this is a pain and I felt bad, but it worked. We found the clean-out on the side of the house, rather than the front yard, where I could have sworn it was, like the girly-man that I apparently am. He then moved to the side of the house and successfully cleaned out the pipes. Hooray! He replaced the toilet perfectly and left our house in great shape with all toilets a-flushin' and drains a-drainin'. But then he retired to his truck for the next 45 minutes while I was waiting inside with credit card in hand, missing my son's high school baseball game, I might add. I realize he had to pack up some tools and the auger in his truck and total up my bill on his tablet, and that takes some time. But I can't imagine that it takes a full 45 minutes. I feel like he was rounding me up to 2 full hours of his time at $85 per hour. So I guess I paid him $64 to get his truck in order and reflect on the day's accomplishments. Total bill was $300. Then I noticed I was charged $13 for caulk, $9 for shims, and $12 for bolts to put the toilet back in place. I would have let him use my toilet caulk or shims for free if he had just asked.
Anyway, I'm very happy that Brad was able to fix our problem quickly and completely, and I guess $300 is about right for this type of service in Austin. But I do have a problem with his general attitude and the extra 45 mystery minutes. I think we would have gotten off on a better foot if I had been more prepared with locating the clean-out. I may not know where my clean-out is, but I have other talents and people like me, gosh darnit.

Great service.
Brad was on time and patient after I locked myself out of my home.
He quickly repaired my shower/tub problem and was nice to my nosy cats.
I'll use him for my next plumbing repairs.

Another job will done. Made a Wednesday appt. Brad called ahead to confirm and arrived on time as promised. I was going thru lots of water and he diagnosed the problem, fixed the issue, checked my irrigation system. Verified another leak, shut off the irrigation and found that the house was down to 20 lbs of pressure. He checked the neighbors and found them to be at 60lbs of pressure. 30 lbs is minimum so he diagnosed the regulator bad. New regulator in and measuring in at 65lbs
Got everything fixed that day and now my shower is actually high pressure. Love it.
5 stars for service.
Very nice guy. Professional and fair.

Brad is the nicest guy, but more importantly a great plumbing professional. He showed up when he said he would, and he got the job done. (I had called two other plumbers, one missed his appointment (no phone call) and then blew me off the second time).
He was here a couple of hours working on two different projects (installing new laundry lines) and repairing a leaky bathroom faucet (one of those funky one's that come out of the back splash). For what he did and how long he was here, I thought his rate was reasonable. He even suggested using Pex instead of copper which would be less expensive).
Thanks! Definitely recommend him.

I cant say enough nice things about Brad and the service he provides. In addition to always being prompt, he does a great job in a timely fashion. He also takes the time to answer any questions and/or look at unrelated issues. Definitely a good guy and not just trying to make a buck.

I was referred to Brad from another plumbing service who couldn't get to me within a day or two as I needed. Brad arrived as scheduled and got straight to work replacing 3 really old toilets in an office space we just leased out "as is". I provided the new toilets and he came prepared with other supplies/parts he might need and got the job done and discovered a few other issues with plumbing in the space that needed addressing. We discussed full fixes of these items and he offered other simple fixes that were more cost effective and would address the issue if we were okay with or without "X" or "Y" (i.e. Offered options). I appreciated the cost effective ideas and booked him again for a few days later to return and address those issues. Easy to work with!

Called this guy about a simple septic job. Quoted my 300% of the competition, told me that some of the pipe wasn't up to code (completely wrong, I was holding a copy of the unified plumbing code at the time) and was just an overall unpleasant man. Good luck.

I don't know that another 5 star review is really needed here, but since the last one was a few months ago, this one is just to say nothing has changed.
I have called Brad twice in the past two months. Both times, my call has been returned promptly, Brad has come when he said he would, and the work has been performed quickly and well. In other words, exactly the way you would want it to be when you need a plumber!

Brad B Plumbing was the best! We needed our kitchen plumbing and gas range disconnected in preparation for a new countertop installation. And then, after the countertop was installed, Brad came back the next day to install a new sink, new faucet and new gas range. Brad was on time, efficient, courteous, respectful, competent, accurate, thorough, and reasonably priced. Our old gas range was defective and Brad worked with us to give us time to get a new gas range. He was able to come back later that same day and rescue us! All this was right before Thanksgiving so we were extremely grateful to Brad.
Thank you!

Brad came out and got that drain cleared. Had a different plumber come out and insist I was on a septic system and that is need 2 lift stations for 12k. Brad snaked and replaced a bad p trap and drain basket. Reasonable price, called a few times to keep me posted on arrival time. We'll keep his magnet on the fridge and he'll alwAys be our first call when we need a plumber.
