Nick answered my call early on a Saturday morning and was over within an hour for a plumbing emergency I had. Other places I called weren't available til Tuesday, which was not a possibility as we had to turn out water off or our house would have flooded. Anyway, he came over and got the job done efficiently within about 30 minutes. Thanks, Nick, for your friendly, professional and reliable service and saving us from what could have been a plumbing nightmare!

I have filed a small claims suit against Nick Bracken and will be filing a complaint with his state licensing board. He has stolen $225.00 from me for a job he never started and $5,500 for a furnace replacement that he installed incorrectly: it was not up to code and leaking carbon monoxide. I am out a total of $5,725.00 because of Nick Bracken. He was recommended by a mutual friend so, I trusted my friend and, therefore, Nick. Big mistake.

He requires 1/2 payment before even starting the job with the remaining due at the end of the job. In June 2021, I paid him $225.00 to install a water filter. He cashed the check right away but never installed the filter and has refused to refund my money.

I called and texted him for weeks with no response until I finally told him that I would file a complaint; only then did he respond. He promised to come install but never showed. He promised to refund my money but never did. I finally gave up on him and filed with small claims court.

I called a new plumber to install the water filter, mentioned the troubles I had with Nick Bracken and the new plumber looked at the furnace that Nick replaced for me in Jan. 2021. I was informed that the furnace Nick installed was the wrong size, was installed incorrectly, was not up to code, had no city permit, had no city approval inspection, and was leaking carbon monoxide. We also found the paper instruction manual INSIDE the furnace that Nick left there. The new plumber took pictures of everything so that I could provide small claims with proof.

I had to pay for another new furnace. Nick was supposed to provide me an invoice for the $5,500.00 I paid him for the 1st furnace, always promised to provide the invoice but never did. I asked him several times for months for the invoice and reminded him each time that I needed to provide the receipt to the insurance company to get reimbursed. He kept telling me that he would provide me the invoice but of course did not. I'm absolutely devastated by this. He just flat out stole $225.00 and essentially stole $5,500,00 that I can't get reimbursed for from the insurance company.

I recently wrote a negative review for Bracken Plumbing. However, Nick Bracken eventually reached out to me and asked if he could finish the job and give me my money back. While I have no idea why he disappeared for two weeks, I'm happy to report that Nick did refund my money and took care of the problem as well.

After promising in the morning to contact me about a repair time for two leaks under my sink - broken disposal and leaking filtered water dispenser, I had to call him by the end of the same day to get him to schedule a 9:30 appointment the next minting. Didn't show by 10:30 so I told him I was leaving to do errands. He told me he'd await my arrival back at my house in a half hour. I came home after a half hour to let him in and couldn't find him. I messaged him on my way out again and he claimed he was sitting in his car around the corner. He said he'd be in Carmel for a couple of hours if I still wanted his help later. I told him I'd be back at 12:30 but had to leave again for the day at 2. He told me he'd ""make it happen."" He arrived with a coworker at 1 and then told me that a customer supplied disposal installation of a disposal would cost $210 bit would solve the other leak for free. After a half hour work (yes, he made $400 an hour on this job after all his misgivings) he told me the disposal was installed but he wouldn't touch the water dispenser leak because of liability issues. He'd replace it but not fix it. Having gotten his check for $210 he left. Unreliable, exorbitantly priced, and incomplete.

I couldn't be more happy with Bracken Plumbing. They replaced most of the bathroom fixtures, faucets and toilets, and installed a tankless water heater. They also have experience maintaining tankless water heaters, which will be useful when something inevitably goes wrong.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Scheduled with only a day's notice. Arrived exactly on time. Replaced 3 faucets, repaired toilet and installed all new supply valves throughout. Work was done professionally and timely. I was given a comprehensive price breakdown for all the work done, in advance over the phone. Total cost was far less than quoted by other local companies for even just the faucet replacements. I encourage anyone looking for a quality plumber and not just a ""technician"" to give Bracken a call.

Not just an exceptional tradesman, but a really good person.
I reached out to Bracken Plumbing sometime in mid- to late 2017 to get some quotes and learn more about getting a tankless water heater installed. Nick Bracken came out to my house for a free consultation, and gave me a tremendous amount of expert info that really helped me get my head around what all needed to be done. When I finally got around to contracting with him last week, he walked through the specifics and made some practical as well as technical recommendations on how to proceed. Long story short, we now have a really nice unit installed, working beautifully for less than we might have expected. Worth mentioning that he and his colleague worked TIRELESSLY in lousy, rainy, cold weather to install a high end tankless heater at my home (on budget and on-schedule, I might add), while still making time to assist with a local day care center around the corner that had a plumbing emergency. A very commendable, well-run family business. I recommend them highly.

Nick Bracken was fantastic. He was very helpful when I first contacted him. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He was very conscientious and and took the old water heater out cleanly and was great at installing the new one. He is nice, leaves everything clean and is through. I would use him again for any and all plumbing needs.

Nick, was highly recommend by his brother, talked nothing but good things about him, mentioned he does a great job for cheaper the price. Excited to do business with him I called him up to re-piped my house. He came up looked at what needed to be done, after he was done he told me he was gonna shot me the quote later the same week. A few weeks past never heard from him, I reached to him by emails nothing. I gave him a call and left a message and nothing. If he didn't wanted the job a courtesy would've been great. Very disappointing
