We just had our entire HVAC system (furnace, AC Unit, and Evaporator coil) replaced by Bowmans. From initial contact to the very end, I had a wonderful experience. Mike answered all of my questions, provided his professional opinion and experience of available additions that could benefit our home. On his recommendation, we added an air scrubber to improve the air quality in our 1972 home and also had all of our vents cleaned. Dan and Aaron arrived in the promised time window and worked thoroughly throughout the entire day. I had asked for isolators to be installed under my furnace due to tile flooring being installed in the near future which Dan happily accommodated my request. All 3 men were beyond helpful, courteous and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bowmans.

These guys are pros, hands down. Garrett & David installed a Aprilaire steam humidifier after they cleaned all the vent work in the house. Folks - keep looking for another company. I had Bowman out on 7/14/17. One of my AC units blew a capacitor and would not run. A capacitor for the folks that don't know costs at most $25 (google and check) and takes about 15 minutes to replace. Bowman charged my wife $350. When I came home I was shocked to say the least. I called Bowman and respectfully explained that I didn't mind paying a fair cost for the service but @ $350 I felt they were taking advantage. I also attempted to say... wouldn't you want a customer that would come back the next time over just taking the quick $350 and running off. Sadly, the manager (Scott I think was his name) simply said that the market you are in dictates that a capacitor fix is worth $350 at least. I simply can't do business with a company that rails people like that. Again the technician was at my home for no more than 20 minutes. Really keep looking these are not the folks you want to have in your home.

This company is top notch and is like a one-stop-shop! His electrician was very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The tech explained everything to me and gave me all my options first. After that, he fixed everything I had on my list, in a really timely fashion. While that was being done the other technician showed up to clean and service my AC unit. He was also super nice and fast! I was able to go back to work by lunch time. I'm moving away from the area and I wish I could take this company with me down to my new house.

Bowman's replaced my HVAC system and water heater. It was a big job since we were replacing a large water heater with a tank less system, and replacing a single-zone gas HVAC system with a state-of-the-art, two-zone HVAC system, and because I asked for some plumbing and ductwork enhancements.

PRICE. Bowman's price was in the middle 3 quotes. I chose them because the sales process was very informative, honest, and no pressure, and because I felt they had the most experience to do the job right.

FREE STUFF. My AC was down, and each company needed 7 days to install the new system. Oh the heat! But, Bowman's loaned me $1k in parts to keep my old AC running until the installation day, and they did not charge me a dime for the parts or labor. That impressed me.

TEAMS of EXPERTS. Two contractors said that this was a 2 or 3 person installation. But Bowman said they needed 3 teams: a ductwork team, a plumbing team, and an HVAC system team. Eight guys in all. They worked their butts off. They were very kind to me, and they treated each other like brothers. Obviously someone up top knows how to pick good workers.

EXCELLENT SUPPORT. Bowman's support's their stuff. I have called them back 3 times for problems. Once to insulate an electronic damper to silence a noise - no charge. Once to determine why there was water on the floor (My basement drain was clogged and this was not their fault) - no charge. Once to remind me how to use the new two-zone system - No charge.

In summary, Bowman's did an outstanding job, and I would especially like to thank Westin for his honesty, congeniality and fanatic support.

I had an issue with my air and when I called to schedule an appointment the women that answered the phone was very rude, she spoke to me like she was doing me a favor . She told me I was lucky she was fitting me into their busy schedule. I will not be using Bowman for my yearly service or repair any longer.

Classic nightmare plumbing contractor experience. Unexpected because we'd used them a couple of years ago for quite a bit of plumbing work & had great experiences. Last fall, when we decided to remodel our bathrooms, we counted on our past experiences with them more than the current negative Angie's List & Yelp plumbing reviews. That was a big mistake.

Day 1 - 2 plumbers arrive 2 hours late but worked steadily on the first bathroom to install the tub, piping, & durock walls. Several issues but the primary - the piping didn't line up with one another by inches & the tub leaked! They couldn't make repairs immediately due to other scheduled jobs - Huh? They had a 50% deposit for both bathrooms, so we wanted to be patient. After a couple of weeks, one plumber, 2 hours late. He stripped out the durock, the tub & the piping to start again - leaving the house a couple of times. After 3-4 hours, he told us he couldn't stay to finish & bailed in a huff when my husband went up to find out why. The work he had 'done' was horrible.

Then the true nightmare began - trying to get our money back. Despite pictures and our request for management to come & review the work done (they refused) Dana & her brothers (voices in the background) felt the work to date was quality work & only a nominal refund was due from the 2 bathroom deposit we'd placed with them. The Bowmans acknowledged that there was no piping in place, no installed tub, no walls, no tile work, no work begun on the 2nd bathroom & no other plumbers on staff. Just 1 plumber (who started mid 2013) & 1 plumber's assistant. These guys were in over their head with this job.

Finally, Dana offers to call in a sub-contractor to handle our 2 bathroom contract with Bowman's - we'd 'begin fresh'. Again, we're trying to be reasonable - we agree. He comes out - on time. He's horrified by the evidence left by the Bowman's plumbers & talks to us about what's needed. We gave him a copy of the Bowman quote for the 2 bathrooms - feel pretty positive about him (& start our research on his company).

Two days later & unexpectedly, we receive a full refund check and a note to work directly with the sub-contractor. He in turn advises us the one bathroom will cost 50% ""maybe more"" than the Bowman's contract & he doesn't really like written quotes....
