Thankfully, most of the times I have had to call Eric the problems were not dramatic, but his response was swift and the repairs completed satisfactorily and reasonably. When I freaked out a couple of days ago over a concern about mold he was on the spot, checking all the possible suspects thoroughly and reassuringly. I will never call another plumber.

I called Bowman a week ago for estimates on 5 or 6 smaller type jobs in my home. He asked me to photo and text each job and he'd give me an estimate. I did. A few days went by with no response. I texted and called again and have still not received a response, much less an estimate.
I'm not saying anything about his work quality, just about poor communications. Bad way to start a business relationship, so I won't.

What a disappointment. Had a plugged shower and sink. They didn't put the screws back in after taking the shower drain plate off (and of course we can't find them anywhere) and did something to the drain cover on the sink (it's now somewhat bent and discolored). To top it off, they couldn't give me a receipt when I paid them and after I called Eric for one, he promised he'd send one and didn't.

April 8, 2016 I discovered what turned out to be an under-slab hot water leak. Bowman Plumbing quickly responded to my call and located the leak. I was given a choice of whether I wanted to tear up the slab or re-route a new line through the walls and ceiling. I chose the walls and ceiling. Bowman Plumbing finished the job the same day. They were professional, courteous, clean and prompt. Bowman Plumbing will be my first call the next time I need a plumber.

Eric Bowman and his company are a clean, prompt, professional outfit that does high-quality work. After a friend recommended them, Eric and an assistant showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem, and found other potential issues while crawling under the house. They replaced almost all gas lines, removed old pipe, fixed a sprinkler controller, replaced all the water drain pipes, etc. They finished as quoted and also showed some before and after photos of the repairs, which was very helpful. I hired them again a couple more times to do some sprinkler repairs. Again, professional job and exactly as quoted. Each time they finished on-time and cleaned up every work area. I couldn't have been happier.

There were only two things that dropped the rating from being perfect. On the initial call to fix gas leak, they did not mention a diagnostic fee until after they did it and gave me the quote -- which mentioned waving the $200 testing fee if I hired them to do the fixes. The other time he gave me a quote and time estimate for fixing sprinkler controller connections. But as the workers continued an hour beyond the estimated time, I called Eric who indicated they were just doing the repairs we agreed upon. Then the bill shows up for double the original quote. At that time he told me of a complication they found once they arrived but there was no communication that day telling me they found this or any mention of additional money. Also, they're supposed to have you sign off on any additional work before performing it.

Those are the only reasons I dropped them slightly. But they do incredible work even down to the patching of the walls after repairs are completed. Everything is solid, looks good, and haven't had any issues with anything since they fixed them. I am very satisfied with the quality of workmanship on each of the repairs and would recommend them to others.
