Kenneth's work was meticulous and I received a complete briefing on future plans as his work was intended to be a temporary fix until a transition section would be installed in the ducting. Unfortunately. The patch failed after four hours.
Jennifer S.Anthony was amazing and did a very thorough job with our AC maintenance. He didn't try to upsell anything but made great recommendations to get us additional mileage out of our appliances! Well worth the cost of the maintenance service package!
I received a survey that clearly stated on the original email and acceptance email that I would receive a 50$ credit on any service or repair. I had a service done today on a contract. They told me on the gift card that I never received that there is an expiration to contracts. It did not state that on any communication I received.
Terrible. Had rubino company come out on 7/4. Charged me for holiday(expected). Technician told me that I didn't have much room for additional refrigerant for my central AC unit and that i should just call them for a quote to replace since mine was broken, $335 for 8oz of refrigerant and holiday visit. Had someone else out today, replaced the capacitor and another electrical part and added another Lb of refrigerant even though Rubino said i was at capacity, and completed the entire thing for $300. They told me my unit should run for another few years... rubino rip off??? I think so...
Had a contract with this company for 5 plus years. They would come out yearly to service my AC prior to the summer and the same with my Heater and Electronic Air Filter prior to the winter. This past year I noticed that they always wanted to schedule me for service 2 to 3 months prior to the end of my yearly. As such, I always actually only received 9 or 10 months of service for the 12 months I was paying. This year, when they called again to service my unit, I told them it was premature, that my 1 year contract was not yet up and that I would call them closer to the date the contract was ending so that I would not have to pay them well over $300. prematurely!
They got very upset yet, did as I requested. When I attempted to renew the contract they informed me that they no longer wanted me as a customer!
I would like to add that, after contracting with another Heating and AC company - HORIZON - I realized how inadequate the service was that I had been receiving from Rubino all these years. Rubino was in and out of my home within 30 minutes and did not service half as many check points as did HORIZON - who spent well over an hour doing the required service and also took the time and effort to inform me as to what they were doing, what they suggested I do to take care of my unit, and could not have been more pleasant and professional during the entire time they were in my home. And, let me add that, HORIZON charges less money for quality service.
I would certainly recommend HORIZON going forward vs. the relatively poor and inadequate service I received from Rubino.
