Update on Botto brothers review -written on the contract it states $140/hour Richard Botto the owner says that was an error it's $145 per half hour he was very nasty he would not even go by the written word of his estimate. saying that his worker had poor handwriting and it's $145 per half hour and they were there an hour so they owe them $290. So if you want to work with a company that is nasty and doesn't go by the written word Botto brothers is for you. I'm not trying to get out of paying a bill I was just questioning why am paying twice as much as the quoted hourly rate. After two attempts they did get the burner working. They definitely get an F in handling customer relations.

BEWARE !!! A few years ago, maybe 5, I asked exactly what they charge. Their answer.. A certain amount for the first half hour and then a certain amount for every 15 min after that, plus parts. I agreed. They did the job fine and when the plumber handed me the bill, a $450 EXTRA charge was tacked on for the ""helper"" who accompanied the plumber. NO mention of a ""helper"" charge was ever told to me. The owner said it would have taken longer to do the job if the ""helper"" wasn't there to run back and forth to the truck to fetch supplies. What a scam. How disgraceful of the owner to gouge extra money out of unsuspecting customers !! I refused to pay for that ""helper""

I needed to replace my defective bathtub that was installed 2 yrs ago. Kohler recommended Botto Brothers, Roger gave me estimate, arranged for the new tub courtesy of Kohler to be delivered. They started the job when they said they would, it took the amount of time they said it would take & most important they did a beautiful job. I'm a perfectionist & I could hardly tell the tub was replaced.

Botto Brothers Plumbing & Heating have been my plumber/contractors for 10 years. In 2006, they put in 2 new bathrooms in my house. The work was impeccable. The bathrooms still look brand new. Hank did a fantastic job. Then, over the years, I have called them numerous times with various plumbing issues throughout my house. They were not only responsive, they fixed the problem the right way. Their guys are friendly, efficient and pleasant to have come to the house to fix the problem. Just recently, I hired Botto again to put in a new kitchen and other tile work in my house, incuding installing a big new bay window in the kitchen. Hank led this job with Billy. The work was, once again, impeccable. Quality job. They showed up every single day as planned and worked a full day. They even worked during snowstorms. Their electrician (Anthony Segarra) was terrific and since then, I have called him for other electrical issues in my house. Hunter Botto was professional and the work he provided was top notch. Roger Botto is very responsive and recently called me about a safety concern he has with my hot water heater. They are EXCELLENT!

I HIGHLY recommend Botto Bros Plumbing !!! Roger & Hunter do their very best to make sure your job is correct and complete !! They will work with your budget and honor their warranties ! Their plumbers are professional....knowledgeable....arrive as scheduled & leave a clean work site..... If an unforeseen problem arises it is addressed right away My bathroom is beautiful ! I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to do all my future plumbing needs with them !!

Researched Bosch certified repair specialist. 2 found - decided to go with Botto.

Technician came to the house to evaluate tankless water heater unit: ""I've never seen this unit before"". Still expectes to get paid?

It's understood someone would advertise ""certified"" to work on a certain brand to drum up business, but wouldn't that mean you could use your expertise to logically trouble shoot what you see in front of you? Or maybe show a little effort researching a little before giving up in 13 seconds and putting your hand out for payment?

Felt slimed after this useless interaction. Paid technician at the guarantee of credit towards next service call - possibly someone that did know how to work on our unit?

Discussion with manager/owner was not less slimeful - ""there's nothing we can do"". Ok. Well, I guess this review is what I can do. Enjoy Botto cousins or whatever the hell you are.

I had a small leak in my faucet and called them to fix it.
they showed up on time and opened the faucet, cleaned the cartridge and put it back in, great leak is fixed.
Charged me $300 and left. The next day the leak is back, so I called and left a message. no one called back for a week. I called again and they said that I have to replace the faucet altogether because they cant find a cartridge replacement for this faucet.
Changing the faucet will cost $200+ labor.
That was outrageous!!!
I took the cartridge to a plumbing supply store and they gave me a replacement for $25, I put it back in and hey it doesn't leak anymore.

Now its been over 6 week I am trying to get my money back from the Botto brothers for a job they didn't perform and they ignore my calls.
Do yourself a favor, think twice before you call them, and 3 times before you consider spending your money with them.

Botto brothers have returned numerous times to repair a defective Kohler toilet. The repairs on this complex electronic toilet have always been perfectly accomplished. Thanks Tom! Unfortunately Kohler has their hands full with this problematic unit. Botto brothers always call quickly to make repairs and the service man arrives on time.

The last 2 times I have used them, I felt they made a big deal about fixing a small leak. First time they charged about about $500 for a broken pipe. Now they estimate $1,000 for a small leak in a sink drain. Suggest you try another plumber.

They came to my house to give me an estimate, but never even got back to me. I called and emailed but nobody even called back. I took a day off of work to meet the estimator and it was a complete waste of time. Don't bother.
