Not all hero's wear capes! Mark from Boston Drain is the BEST. Just bought a new home and had a drain issue one week in causing some flooding coming form drain in shower in the basement. Boston Drain was highly recommended so we called them right away and they came out. Issue was resolved and at a great and fair price! Similar issue happened 2 weeks later and we called the on call tech who said he would be able to come out in a few hours however Mark our original guy immediately called us within minutes, he saw that we called in and said that he was on his way and that he did this job originally and he would be there to see it through. He was there in half hour and fixed the issue. We were so relieved. Mark took the time to explain everything and assured us we could call him anytime going forward. Thank you Boston Drain for providing us with someone as great as Mark! We will definitely be recommending!
Who ya gonna call when your drain is clogged. Even my regular and Reliable plumber told me to call them for a clogged drain. With that said the prices are very expensive.
Karen B.As a homeowner of a multi family you will need to hire a plumber from time to time. My 3rd floor tenants had a clogged toilet and I contacted Boston Drain and the lovely Karen answered the phone and was able to dispatch a service man within 1/2 hour to the house. I was amazed at how quick the service was as I had called several companies and had no response. I was charged a reasonable fee of $125 and the service man Mark also went to the 1st floor to access the ceiling damage on his way out. Bye MARK! Or so I thought. 10 minutes later, my 80 plus mother comes out of her bedroom and says to me. ""Something is wrong with my toilet too."" Huh? The guy just left, why didn't you say something?! ""I just remembered"". Now I know I am not supposed to get angry but I was steaming hot and called back to the company to request that Mark return. Karen answered again and dispatched him to return. Mark returned with a bewildered look and came in and discovered my mother's toilet did need a replacement after several attempts at snaking the line. He went through the whole trouble shooting phase and her toilet would not flush on it's own. Now by this time he has spent more time on her floor than the original service call for the 3rd floor. I warned my mother she was going to have to pay for another service call but Mark, Karen and the Boston Drain company gave me a break. No additional charge and I needed that as you can tell I have bigger problems I have to face. So overall, I am happy with their customer service and Mark in particular maintained his professionalism at all times. I will continue to call you first as needed.
Barbara S.Rich, from Boston Drsin, was great! We've had repeated problems and he set out to fix them, once and for all. I was impressed! Quick, effective, and pleasant. Everything you'd want in an emergency.
Called them out based on a recommendation to clear blockage in a sewer line. I was expecting them to come out to both clear it and to video to ensure nothing was remaining (i.e. additional roots). Guy showed up late, flushed my toilet until water was backing up and didn't remove the water...I rushed to get towels so it wouldn't get to my wood flooring in the hallway. He had nothing to protect my walls and flooring from the spinner part splattering sewer water all over my house. And he wasn't going to put anything down under his equipment to prevent it from scraping up my flooring! After he was all done, I asked him about the camera work and he said that's a different guy (later I found out it could have been one trip for both, I guess they just wanted to charge me extra).
So I end up taking another day out of work for the camera guy...i get a call he's running late, then another call that he can't make it, but he'll be there Saturday morning. Naturally I get a call on a gorgeous Saturday morning saying ""he can't make it but will be there by 8AM on Sunday."" Sunday at 9AM (yep, an hour late) he shows up and says he has to go on my roof to get in to the piping because the previous guy tightened up the hose connecting to the toilet so much that he was afraid he'd break something. After hearing from the first guy that camera work is only a couple hundred bucks, this guy tells me because it was a Sunday and he had to go on the roof it was MUCH higher than that.
These guys are the WORST.
If I could I would give zero stars. The work crew was very rude. Leaving the gate to my yard open despite being asked to keep it shut. They then proceeded to swear loudly outside the window where my son was sleeping. I asked them to keep it down. About an hour later the swearing started up again ""we don't have the to keep the f***ing gate shut, we don't have to keep our f***ing voices down."" I went out to ask them again to stop swearing. ""Dave"" told me he had a permit so it didn't mater what I said. I told him if the swearing continued I would call the police and he said ""go ahead"". I did call the office to complain and they seemed more interested in getting me off the phone than actually dealing with the problem.
Boston Drain saved our Thanksgiving! We had a horrible back up that necessitated MAJOR plumbing work. These guys arrived within hours of my call the day before Thanksgiving. And throughout each day of the week long job, I had full plumbing use each night. They made a horrible homeowner event as easy as could possibly be.
Evie U.So glad I called Boston Drain after Rapid Flow screwed up a job at my rental property. I was in a jam and I called the dispatch at Boston Drain. She sent the technician over within an hour. We had a clog in the sewer pipe, and Chris got to the problem within minutes. So lucky I found them!!!
From the first phone call & up until saying goodbye upon completion of our main sewer line Chris, Tevin & crew have been a pleasure to work with. Everyone has been knowledgeable, friendly, worked on the weekend and able to meet my needs above and beyond expectations!! If you are looking for a company that treats you as family/friend and not just another number or dollar sign!! I highly recommend Boston Drain!

BEWARE! They take advantage of a situation. They gave me two quotes one was for a shorter distance and the other for full distance of basement. They didn't go the full shorter distance and the plumber said he spilt the difference. Beware.
