Neil Boston founded Bostech Services, Inc. in 1990 and has been involved in the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing sectors since 1980. He is a licensed master electrician and has the necessary Texas A/C licenses for refrigeration and boiler operations. Moreover, he is a member of the City of Garland's plumbing and mechanical board.
With a wealth of experience, Bostech handles air conditioning and heating repairs and replacements for both commercial and residential settings, covering everything from small coolers to commercial rooftop units.
Bostech's electrical expertise includes upgrading electrical panels, adding circuits, and installing lighting for both residential and commercial properties. Our team is skilled in UPS systems, TUSS, surge protection, generator backup solutions, and diagnosing electrical control issues.
Our master plumber, Mr. Dennis Jacks, has a wealth of experience in plumbing for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. He is also certified in Med Gas in the State of Texas. Called Neil out on a thursday before New Years for a leaking Gas line outside- as a plus he did have his diggers there the next day and he showed up twice for about 15 minutes. The job was quoted for $3750 plus $300. for Dallas overtime inspection. When the bill was presented, it was $445.00 . No communication of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He should have known that Dallas requires the home to be pressure tested and claimed he had top wait in line for a permit- unfortunately all other contractors know that and figures that into the estimate. They would also estimate the $ amount on the estimate if the house needed to be pressure tested (which he did not). This man was abusive and arrogant and I would stay away from him and his company.

It has been 3 weeks since they installed the wrong size coil in my 5 ton unit and they have given me the run around ever since

Bostech is the BEST. They fixed my HVAC as quickly as they could and didn't overcharge. Not sure how to explain this..... but my unit was so old and a drain pipe?? In the HVAC closet was installed weird, so he redid the drain pipe to make it function better. (Wow... I hope that made sense). Also I live alone.... now don't laugh...and I'm uncomfortable with men who give off weird vibes but I was very comfortable with the technicians and installers.

I recently had Bostech to my home for a large-scale repair and I had a very positive experience. Scheduling was quick and they came at my convenience, I was advised who the tech was that would be coming, he listened very attentively to all my concerns before starting work, and the work was done quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Everything was reviewed and all my questions were answered after the service, I really appreciate the courtesy of the techs who did the work and will be using Bostech again!

I have used Bostech Services on several occasions for our company and have found they go over and beyond to make a happy customer. They are also doing conference calls and follow up calls on my particular situation I am have with the City of Dallas Water Department. They have not billed me for the first service as they are waiting on more information from the City. I highly recommend them.

For the last year I have been using Bostech for my A/C needs. They have been fantastic. I have two rather old A/C units in my town house, and they have had several unrelated problems since I moved in (clogged drain lines, Freon leaks, exploded run caps, thermostat problems). Most recently it was discovered that the evaporator on the upstairs unit was leaking Freon everywhere. Travis was able to come out and replace the evaporator the same day I called. He spent essentially the entire day at my house and charged me exactly what was quoted. I had a different problem with that same unit's compressor not coming on, and Travis figured out that the Nest thermostat was not sending the low voltage signal up to the unit. I was able to get a new Nest directly from the manufacturer free of charge thanks to Travis's clever thinking and correct diagnosis. He also used a jumper to bypass the thermostat while I was waiting on the new Nest so I could stay cool upstairs. I have not had any problems since then with that unit, and it's been a couple months of summer-time temperatures! It's very easy to get a human on the phone when I call Bostech, and I definitely plan to stick with these guys for any future issues that arise. Highly recommend Travis - he's super knowledgeable and a good guy!

I had a great experience working with Travis. I had electrical and AC issues that he was able to diagnose quickly. He also explained how my unit works and gave me helpful self-maintenance tips. Couldn't be happier with the service!

Steer Clear...unfortunately home warranty sent them....installed new compressor...told me it would need more Freon just call when it gets hot. Called......nope go through insurance......a week later I got more Freon. WITHIN 3 hours the unit quit working and NOONE could come until after hours.....a master switch blew out.....maybe it was because the unit hadn't shut off since the compressor was put it as it could not cool............total shit show. NOT only was I charged 150 after hours call but 150 for the part. Left several messages for owner that went unanswered!!

The quality of service you receive depends on the technician. Make sure you ask for Travis. He's very knowledgable and thorough. A couple others not so much.

This is my second time dealing with Travis form Bostech. The first time was for an AC issue and today for a heating issue. He is one of the most knowledgeable tech that I have ever dealt with in any industry. He took the time to explain my systems and generally wanted to make sure I was happy with his service. This guy is a true asset to to the company and I will highly recommend them to anyone.
