I called and asked for a written estimate because that's what businesses usually do, I was willing to pay for one but was denied because I wasn't sure who I wanted to hire for the job...Warren told me what he thought the problem might be, gave me a price and asked me to text him my info, I received no response after that. I sense a little arrogance with this company, No Thanks and moving on to the next one...

He is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and has a vast network. I can only highly recommend him and his company for any plumbing job you may have.

I would highly recommend Boss Plumbing to anyone in the Philadelphia area. I live out-of-state and own a rental property in East Falls. When I recently needed a plumber, I reached out to multiple places and most either didn't respond or couldn't come for weeks. Warren responded very quickly and went to the house to resolve the problem the next business day. He was communicative and helpful throughout the process, and for that I'm very grateful.

I cannot say enough about these guys - Warren (the owner) and DJ. From my initial call asking for service on my hot water tank to the completed installation of the new tank. These guys went above a d beyond as the identified several other issues that are par for the course in my charming older home. From a bird in the duct to a blocked sewer line...they did it all. They are polite, courteous, and highly skilled in the art of both explaining and showing the customer the issue(s). A 90 minute job turned into 5 hours. Boss Plumbing & Heating are now the official team for Hotel Hansberry!!! The pricing is fair and this ole gal could not have asked for better service or communication of the issues as well as suggestions to go-forward services. Kudos to Warren for taking time to teach whenever a ""training"" opportunity came up while DJ was working.

Warren literally couldn't be a better plumber. When our stack pipe cracked, he and his team came out promptly and replaced everything, even coming back to follow up and reset our toilet. I'd give him ten stars if I could, especially since we called tonight at 9pm after a pipe sprang a leak in our basement and he came out within the hour as a favor. I have his number saved and he's the only plumber I'll be using from now on.

His uncle Mark who came out to work on our stack pipe was also a great guy and super professional.

Where do I begin?!!! I received a call from my agent informing me that water is bubbling from my sidewalk and the streets are flooded. My water line had a crack in it! I live 2 hours away. Frantically, I was searching for a Great Plumber that can get this issue resolved as soon as possible. This is how I met Warren from Boss Plumbing. Warren, the owner himself, answered my call after 8pm on a Wednesday evening. He calmly explained my options and we agreed to meet the next day. He showed up on time and throughly explained worst case and best case scenario. He accepted check, credit, etc. The following day, he went to Philadelphia City Hall and got the permits to begin work the following Monday. He sent me videos, pictures and explained every step of the way. His work is fast and impeccable. Thank you Warren. If you want a reliable, knowledgeable and fair plumber, Warren is the Boss. Lastly, he is a 3rd generation plumber in his family so he has a wealth of knowledge with new school approaches.

Called after hours and the guy picked up. Set a time for the next day. Overall, felt he was friendly and communicated well. Asked for a video of the issue to properly assess the problem. Priced the issue right over the phone. Roommate stayed home and met him at the set time (just a little late) the next day. Snaked the backed up sewer line and took videos for IG (without my knowledge) of his process. $385 for the service. I had no reference point for the cost so I agreed. I asked for additional info/detail from him via email for my insurance, which he agreed to but never sent. Roughly 2 weeks later and the same blockage is happening. He stated over the phone that it could be a bigger issue (curb trap, a $4k+ installation) but if he came to do it he exact same job it would be another $385. Next door neighbor had the identical issue 1 week after my initial blockage and got a diff company to come out and clear her curb trap and clear her drain issue for $285. I have called them to come service my issue correctly. It appears Boss neglected to check all possible blockage points, as the issue has quickly returned.

EDIT:
2nd company came out. Looked at the curb trap as a first step and immediately determined the issue was blockage outside, not inside the home. They retrieved the item blocking the drain and showed me the all clear on their camera system. This part of the drain was not looked at by Boss. Problem resolved by 2nd company, unfortunately for the exact same price.

Warren has done a few jobs for me to date. He's honest, hardworking, and keeps me informed every step of the way. Couldn't ask for more. I recommend him for your plumbing needs in the Philly area!
