Same thing here. Bosch tankless water heaters are a nightmare and their customer service macthes the catastrophic quality of the product.

After professional visits from both a plumber and an electrician and over 2 hours of interrogation by Nausia and Clifford at this companies ""Pre-screening"" center I was assured the product was under warranty and was allowed to speak to someone from their support. I was in tears before I was even allowed to speak to someone interested in helping.

Lisa, helped me trouble shoot the problem for 10 minutes and told me I must purchase a $150 non-refundable part as her best guess at a fix. Too bad for me if she is wrong and at 2PM mountain time they are closed for the weekend.

Despite the fact that the product failed within a year, the time to bring out an electrician and plumber cost me my warranty period and an entire day, $150.00 and no more hot water than when I started.

I will never buy from this company again and warn anyone else to purchase an instant hot water heater from a reputable company. While Lisa was nice, it was clear to me that she hears the exact same complaints all day long and there is nothing she can do about it.

i purchased bosch tankless water heater last year 2009 NOV., it was a biginning of disasters. water heater will shut off while somebody is using it, and it turns to cold water, whoever is taking the shower needs to call for help to has somebody to reset the unit. i had contacted so called Bosch certified technician, who can't fix the problems and had to call for Bosch Tech. line for helps, and they still can't fix the problem. also i have been on and off the phone with BOSCH Tech suppots, Shawn and Scott, for many times, they are lack of acknowledge on their own products, and they are pushing off the responsbiity by accusing me, owner and plumber, installed it wrong. i followed the instruction menual that came with the unit.
it wasn't pleasant dealing with rude tech supports.
by the way, Bosch covers PARTS ONLY NO LABOR. and owners need to pay out of their own pockets to have someone to inspect the problems and they still can't fix the problems.
FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE THINKING OF BUYING BOSCH TANKLESS WATER, THANK AGAIN. ARE YOU READY TO GO THROUGH ALL THE HASSLE WITH BOSCH TECH SUPPORTS.
