I had issues with my shower drain and it had become a problem. I called Borges yesterday and they set up a time for this morning at 8. Stephen showed up 15 minutes early and got right into it. He was able to get the job done in less than 30 minutes, just in time for me to make it to work on time.
He was very nice, very professional and made sure to perfectly clean the entire area after he was done.
The price also beats any other company in the area. Believe me, I did my research.

I recommend this company and exceptional service to anyone, and will definitely reach out if I have drain issues again.

Best place around! My bathtub was extremely clogged. Every time I used the bathroom sink the water would come up from the bathtub. I looked up Borges on Yelp and thought let's see how this goes. I also reached out to 4 other companies and I didn't get one response. The owner Steve replied to my quote within 10 minutes! I explains my situation, he gave me a great quote and stated someone would be at place between 11am-1pm today!! The tech showed up at 12:16pm, which I was surprised how quickly he arrived. He came in did his job, was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy going. He explained everything he was doing to me, which I thought was great since I don't know to much about plumbing. He was done within 20 minutes, and cleaned up any mess he had created!

Borges you provided A+++ service! You have gained a new customer with me for sure! I will recommend you guys to everyone in the Malden, Medford, Melrose, Somerville area for sure!

Borges was great when they worked on the sewer line for my house. First they had come by after all the poop water backed into my basement and snaked the line. Bunch of hair and towels and whatnot... thought the problem was solved but a week later it backed up again and they snaked again. After the THIRD time this happened they ran a camera through and saw that the line had separated and there were many cracks in the clay.

Guess it's time to replace the sewer line... oh the joys of home ownership. This house had already been a headache for me so that's what I expected more of but Borges was fantastic. They already mentioned the sewer line needed work and recommended that the water line be replaced as well (not in an upselling way) because it was lead (it's an old ass house, okay) and the ground would already be dug up. They arranged everything with the city of Medford and was in the ground doing their half within a week. They took out any headaches with logistics that I would have. They are fast, effective, and made this whole issue a lot less painless than I would have expected.

Steven and his dad John were great! We had spoken to them about replacing a broken pipe under our foundation wall, then not been able to do it for some time. When we were finally ready, they were completely booked for months, but were awesome about fitting us in.
They were prompt, good about communication, and when the job ended up being easier than expected, charged us less than estimated. I cannot recommend them more highly!

These guys just saved my butt.

I thought I'd be smart and get the industrial strength stuff for a badly clogged tub. Ya know, the sulfuric acid kind. Bad move. It just sat there in the water. I've seen Breaking Bad; I know what happens if you leave acid in the tub too long.

So, I call Borges at 5:59. They close at 6. They sent someone over after hours and he fixed it in about 10 minutes.

They were great! I messaged them through yelp last night at 6 p.m. after the bliizard ended for snow removal. They responded right away and gave me a morning appointment and called to reconfirm in the morning. They arrived around 9 a.m. and did a great job!!! I will absolutely use them again! So excited to find this company for snow removal.

Steve was fabulous! He came within a couple of hours, got right to it, cleared the drain, cleaned up and was gone in short order. Very polite, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong!

There was water in my basement that I suspected was more than ground water. I called this company because of their excellent reviews.
Steven came out and found I had a hidden trap (that I never knew about in 25 years of owning my house,) which was blocked. He snaked the main sewer line and recommended removing the trap.
I called him Thursday and he was able to come Saturday with his helper.
Every step of the way Steven impressed me more:
--The side entrance to the basement was snowed in, and in the past contractors have griped about this. He said, No Problem, he'd shovel if he needed to, and managed to get in and out. He also worked around the clutter in my basement with no issues.
--He cleaned out the dirty water with a wet vac, and even spread Pine Sol so I didn't have to smell the nasty sewage smell.
--He figured out a solution for the pit where the trap was that was less complicated than what he originally planned, then thoroughly and patiently explained to me why he was taking that route.
--There was a possibility that tree roots were blocking the pipe, which would have involved additional time and expense. Steven ran his camera on a line through the pipe and showed me the video of how clear the pipes were, eliminating any worry about that problem.
I also asked him about another, minor issue with an older toilet, and he gave me a better solution for the long term than the one I was considering.
Steven's work was efficient, clean, and thorough. He's thoughtful, efficient and considerate, knows what he's doing and--more importantly--how to clearly explain it to a customer. On top of all that he's a nice, personable guy. It was a pleasure to do business with him, even under the nasty circumstances of a basement flood. They finished in less time than expected, left everything clean and tidy, and left me with a good feeling about their work.
I highly recommend him.

After years of dealing with a flooding basement, last summer I had these guys come out and take a look. They ended up replacing part the sewer line leaving the house, and my basement has been dry every since. The crazy rain of the past 24 hours has made me think back to how glad I am they came - so now I have time to sit on the couch and write this review instead of bailing water out of my basement.
