In 1954, Bob Darr and Louis Boone established Boone & Darr, Inc. as a modest company. Since then, we have evolved into Washtenaw County's leading mechanical HVAC contractor for commercial and industrial projects. Today, Boone & Darr, Inc. remains a family-owned and operated business.

Having a long-standing presence in Washtenaw County, we have collaborated with numerous prominent organizations. Our clients include Borders, Pfizer, Mazda, the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Ford Motor Company, GMAC, St. Joseph Mercy Health System, Domino's, Ypsilanti District Library, and various local school districts.

Boone & Darr, Inc. is a comprehensive HVAC, mechanical, piping, and plumbing contractor with over 55 years of experience. Our expertise extends to High Purity Piping, Double Wall Stainless, food grade, beverage grade, pharmaceutical grade, pressure piping, ASME piping, steam piping, plumbing, air piping, process piping, high purity water piping, and high purity gas piping. In my role as president, I manage company operations while also being directly involved in project management. I have managed significant projects such as building a class 10 cleanroom, a hydrogen laboratory, and a cutting-edge data center.
