I'm writing this review because it is the first step before my brother, a project manager for a construction company in Sacramento, turns them in to the Better Business Bureau. My AC unit broke and, being a new homeowner, I called them for an estimate. They came out and checked and, long story short, we decided to replace the unit as it was old and broken. It cost $24,000 to replace and install. I had to take a loan out to replace, which I'm now told by my brother who works in this line of business, is absurd, over-priced, and not at all what it should cost. On top of that, the technician that came out sat there for two hours describing to me how he sleeps with female clients on a regular and hinted that he gives discounts when he does. As a young, single female, it was very uncomfortable and enraging to be implied to that if I slept with him, he would knock some money off my overpriced unit. Furthermore, in his conversation he said that his bosses ENCOURAGE him to do it as part of the perks of his job.
It is part of my expensive replacement that they come and check my unit and perform any maintenance and at this point, I don't know if I feel comfortable having another technician from this company enter my home. My advice, do your research beforehand.

Anthony was quick and efficient. He knew the probable source of the water leak and offered multiple repair options for consideration. I was able to make an informed decision. He promptly obtained the parts and corrected the water leak to my satisfaction.
Five hours from the time I called Bonney to a repaired plumbing issue makes a happy customer.

My AC was tripping my breaker. I called Bonnie to come out and take a look. When they came out they told me that my unit was leaking freon and the unit needed to be completely replaced. After asking me how my credit was they sold me a $20k unit. Installation was scheduled for the next day. After clearing my mind from the sales pitch, I called a different company come out to confirm their findings. Upon review it was found that there was NO leak and my unit just needed a small repair that only cost $400. When I reached out to the company to express my concerns, I was told my message would be addressed by a manager the next day - still no call back. I can only imagine how many people have been sold a unit when they didn't need one. Terrible business practices - most definitely do not recommend.

I had two different technicians come out today-plumbing technician and for HVAC.

Jason Howell the plumbing technician was very friendly and educated us on the services he was providing. He walked us through and provided our options.

John Angi also had great customer service as well. Also very friendly and provided us with options. Bonney is a well rounded company and have always had great technicians come by.

I really appreciate that both technicians provided their business card and encouraged us to call them with any questions or concerns. Thanks guys!

My AC stopped working and I was able to get an appointment within a few days. Ernesto was on time and he fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable and respectful. He explained everything to me. I recommend them.

Had an issue with a shower/tub backing up on a regular basis. Normally pretty handy with that kind of thing, but I failed to YouTube on how to remove the drain plug to see if there was an issue that I could deal with.

Decided to call Bonney and made an appointment. They were quick to make the appointment, but I can say I wasn't exactly happy with a 4 hour window for the appointment. Made it work. Santos arrived within 2.5hrs of the scheduled window and when we assessed the problem, it was an easy fix. Just a hair clog that built up around the screw in base. Never had one of those types of drain plugs, but now I can check on a regular basis. Santos was a very polite and knowledgeable young man and helped me to fix myself in about 10 minutes, without charging me a service charge. Saved me at least a $2-$300 for the service call. Nice that there are still honest, professional & trustworthy businesses/people left in the world today. Would definitely use them again.

I hired them to replace a broken AC filter plate.

I was explicit when I made the first call. Replace this plate.

They removed the screws and put inferior ones in, then without discussing it cleaned my furnace in under half an hour and charged me $1500 for said labor, then sold me an air purifier.. instead for over $1000 and a membership.

When I asked the worker about the plate after all this, he balked and said that will cost $300, implying $300 is too expensive.

I still have a broken plate that the company made worse!

Then, when they returned to maintain my AC as part of the membership, I explicitly asked the technician to please improve the $1000 screws they sold me that are making the plate impossible to use. He said he would try, but he promptly forgot, and didn't even document the problem in his list of suggested repairs!

I have half a mind to call an attorney.

My shower faucet decided to start dripping/running in the middle of the night on a holiday! I called Bonney and they sent Pedro out within hours. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem and also was able to help with another annoying issue. It's so nice to not have to worry about either plumbing issue now! What a relief!! Thanks Bonney Plumbing for sending Pedro to help!!

Unresponsive, unreliable. No communication
Prices much, much higher than other companies. They said they ordered parts to repair our air condition unit, They never did.
No call backs etc.

Carlos Lozano came by today to perform AC maintenance on our system. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and best of all, he took pride in his work by cleaning everything he inspected/repaired! In addition, he was able to install an air purifier for us. We are Bonney Beyond impressed and Carlos set the bar very high for the next maintenance person! :)
