Great experience using Bonney for our clogged drain. They were available earlier than the appointment but still called to make sure they could come early rather than just showing up unexpected. Chris G was friendly, professional and did a fantastic job. He explained everything thoroughly and even provided us a quote of work we might want to look into in the future. There was no pressure, just some friendly advice and a quote to help us know what we're looking at. As new home owners, this kind of advice was greatly appreciated. Service like that is what will keep us using Bonney for all our home maintenance needs.

We had a an old water heater start leaking all over our garage. I called Bonney and they were out within two hours with a brand new one. Michael was super personable, knowledgeable and fast. He even gave me a good DIY tip on fixing a leaky faucet while he was here. Highly recommend!

Bonney did a great job replacing our HVAC system. The process was seamless from start to finish and all Bonney's employees were friendly and professional.

Technician came on time. He was very easy to talk to and explained me what was going on. It turned out there was nothing to worry about and he didn't even charge me a penny!
As a single mother who has no knowledge of plumbing, I really appreciate his honesty and generosity.
Highly recommend this company

Called Bonney for a basic snake out when the washing machine backed up the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Came out same day, which was great! The visit and diagnosis is $49, which gets applied to actual service (okay).
Mike and Francisco show up and say the clean out in front of the kitchen window is too small for their equipment and they need to find the main clean out, which the two guys can't seem to find on a modest 1100sf single level house. (Kinda lame for pros, but okay).
So Mike makes the leap from his visual without even poking the kitchen clean out that there's a plug in the house main, def not a secondary, that could be a $2500 trenching or a lot higher if they have to cut concrete. The only way to know is to run a camera and that's $500. (Wow! Guess we'd better run the camera and find out how bad this is.)
After going up to run the camera from the roof vent, they discover the main clean out (just outside the bathroom, because it's a 1-bath house btw) which is so minor that the camera pokes open the obstruction which is right at the clean-out.
Bonney charged me $500 for a simple snake job that was right outside the bathroom. Classic case of setup (scare the customer with a potentially epic catastrophe), offer an overpriced diagnostic (which should have been covered by the $49 service visit) and sell the customer a more expensive service that wasn't necessary. The other shady part of this is that there's no way Mike could have known it was a mainline obstruction that he claimed was not on the county line, but 7' deep on the property side, if he couldn't even find the main clean-out. Plus, it clearly was a secondary issue because the toilet and tub drained fine. Had they just snaked the kitchen upon arrival instead of going for the upsell, this would have been a much cheaper resolution.
Bonney is shady. I will file a BBB complaint for shady business practices and will never use them again. Neither should you.

My meter mast was damaged in a storm and I lost power. SMUD said they could not restore power until I had it replaced. I called Bonney and they had an electrician there within half an hour to assess the situation and they also had personnel there early the next morning to fix the problem so that I could have my power restored. The personnel were all very friendly and helpful and wore masks and took all necessary COVID precautions.

I called Bonney plumbing because my sewer was stopped up and I wanted to have the drain snaked. The technician showed up quickly which was nice. The technician proceeded to fill my sink with water and tell me that the sewage was clogged. DUH! that's why I called this company. He then told me that he could not snake the drain that I had an would need to install a new one. Ok, I guess if that's what it takes I'll do it. He then tells me it's more than $2K before he even knows if this will fix my problem. I will never use this company again and will make sure to everyone I know and work with to not use this company. $35 to rent a snake and we are back up and running. NOOOOOOO Bonney plumbing ever again.

No heat for two days this January, called Bonney to troubleshoot. Bad news was that our 25 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Mike patiently went over our options with us and quoted us a price. He even pulled some strings to arrange for next-day installation. I know there must have been some unforseen problems with the installation as the two techs (and then a third) were here for almost 6 hours. Nevertheless the cost was exactly what was quoted. Icing on the cake was that the guys installed 2 new Honeywell thermostats.
A major purchase like a furnace is always a blow to your budget, but at least there's satisfaction in knowing your money was well spent.

Do your research and get multiple quotes before trusting this business. I was quoted $2600 to replace parts to fix a heater in the middle of December. Their technician claimed the unit was in terrible condition and realistically needed to be REPLACED to avoid addition fixes. It seemed odd as we're in a newer development in Rocklin. I postponed their work and had a different business review the heater to provide a second opinion. The second company fixed the problem in 10 minutes by lubing a part that was stuck and charged me $100 to replace the part to avoid future issues. (They said the unit looked good and couldn't locate any issues with the larger parts that Bonney had quoted were broken). Bonney is a total scam. Their management won't even provide a clear explanation or apology after charging me $89 diagnostic fee to simply lie to my face and leave us freezing in the middle of winter. Please beware.

20 Jan 2021: I highly recommend Bonney for your HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs. Michael came out a couple weeks ago to provide me with an estimate and explained how the system worked. His explanation was much easier to understand vs what I was reading on the internet. I had LOTS of questions and he answered them.to my satisfaction.
Prior to agreeing to have the work performed, I was concerned with an exterior install. Michael came back out, assessed interior of my garage and said "" we can install inside without any issue.""
Today was install day. Michael and Juan (helper) were punctual, in fact early. I was told it would take pretty much the whole day to do the job. I was impressed with their attention to all the details. They cleaned up the garage very well and even helped move my workbench back into place.
I would HIGHLY recommend Bonney for your service needs.
