We called them after finding a gas leak and again when our toilet started to leak. Both times we were schedule promptly and with care. I love that you get a text with a photo and information about the plumber coming to your property. They also text you when they're on the way.

We've had the pleasure of working with Jim, Austin, and Keith. All three of them were incredibly professional and personable. Jim and Austin gave us a second opinion on an ""issue"" another plumbing company said we had with our hot water heater piping. Spoiler alert - It wasn't a real issue.

We will definitely be using Bommer going forward and recommending them to other people.

A pipe broke on Thursday (Thanksgiving). Friday morning I entered a Yelp request for a quote from Bommer plumbing. (Yelp site now says response is typically within 9 hours, although at the time I'd thought it was 4 hours). Nothing back on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in spite of their ""24 hour service"" claim. Early Monday morning I receive a message saying ""technician can't evaluate from picture and will need to come onsite to quote. If you accept quote, $87 charge will be waived"". I can understanding wanting more info, but how about a call or request for more detail first, before charging $87 for an estimate?

Compare this to JB Plumbing, where the owner responded within 10 minutes of my request, happened to live nearby and came over to check out the situation (no charge) and then gave me options since he didn't have needed part in hand. One of the options was to wait and see what other plumbers responded. If no one was available, let him know and he'd send one of his techs from Phila on Saturday. Long story short - go with JB and skip the M-F, no holiday support Bommer.

Maybe it was just an off time or they aren't set up to respond to yelp quickly, but they should say so in their listing.

Didn't call them first, the first call would not show up. It was late, they came out they took care of it till it was done. I was very happy with their service.

Trusted professionals all the way!

We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom which was clearly caused by the master shower directly upstairs. We initially called in another plumber, and he and his boss felt very strongly that a hairline crack in the pan of our master shower was causing the issue. They came back with an estimate of $7,000 to redo the entire master shower (and vanity). What? We called Bommer Plumbing for a second opinion and boy, are we glad we did.

Jim arrived right on time and he worked with my husband and me to troubleshoot the leak. He spent close to 90 minutes at our place. Long story short, the culprit of the leak was worn caulk along the top of of the master shower basin, NOT a hairline crack. We all cheered when the source was found! We saved thousands of dollars with this (accurate) diagnosis. And he even pointed out a potential issue with the electric source for our downstairs bathroom fan.

Jim was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and hilarious. We were cracking jokes like old buds. He was awesome! And office staff is super friendly. They keep you apprised of your plumber's whereabouts on the day of your appointment. They even send a picture of your plumber so you know what they look like ahead of time. This was a great touch and much appreciated, as you can never be too careful these days.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Don't do what we did and call Bommer Plumbing second...call them FIRST.

I called for service this morning and they were at my house in less than two hours. I had a very bad clog (very very bad). He was able to fix the clog and was very nice and professional. I will definitely use Boomer plumbing again!!
I would recommend their service for anyone that has any kind of plumbing problem!

Needed to replace a complicated hot water heater setup. Responded quickly and clearly communicated prices, whereabouts and plan for replacement. Job took two days as my chimney was not up to code and both days received a call before the techs left and arrived on time. Jim was a pleasure to work with and exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning to them for future work.
