In the year 1923, William Bolton Sr. transitioned from the railroad industry to supervise the construction of the HVAC system for the first high-rise hotel in Raleigh. He functioned as its maintenance supervisor for a short time after its completion. In the year 1925, the founder established Bolton Company to set up and maintain coal-fired heating and commercial refrigeration for regional dairies and meat production companies.

From those modest origins, each successive generation of the Bolton lineage has played a role to develop, improve, and uphold our legacy to quality work and trustworthiness. Now proudly providing our community with HVAC, air conditioning, pipe services, general contracting, electrical services, and generator services. The youngest of William E. Bolton III's children, Mark started working with Bolton Construction after completing a BS in Mechanical Systems from the Wyoming University.
