I am a long time resident of Wayland and I used Bolivar Plumbing at the beginning and they satisfied my needs, but after calling them for services of my old furnace that was not firing up, they declined to offer any more services due to the worry that the furnace might go permanently get disabled. It's seems that they are not at the top of the game trying to bring customers satisfaction with willingness and confidence.

Super rude receptionist who apparently took issue with my Robokiller app. She called 4 times within one hour while I was unavailable (once would have been sufficient), couldn't figure out how to leave a message, and then chastised me when I called her back within two. Dear business owner, do yourself a favor and educate this misguided individual on the meaning of customer service.

I've used them in the past and liked them, so they've been my go-to plumber. But this last time, the plumber they sent seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I had replaced a toilet myself but it rocked so I called them. The plumber was a younger guy than they had sent in the past. He told me the flange needed replacing, which he did. But after he left the toilet still rocked so I had to call them again and they sent someone else to fix it.

The second problem he fixed while he was here was that water was dripping out the bathtub spout. He replaced the control valve which fixed the problem. I have no complaints about that. But he also replaced the spout without asking me first so that it would match the control valve. The new spout was a little smaller in diameter and you can see the edges of the opening. He also did not use any sealant or caulk (see pic).

Totally unprofessional. I called them multiple times to find out when and how are they going to fix my plumbing issue but no response. At least be courteous enough to say you are busy and not interested in small repair jobs.

OMGosh - love Bolivar Plumbing. Every emergency I've had (and had a few) the owner Ron pulls through. They are very professional and I have had all different problems and they are there. Installs or fixing a problem ... I just love this company! Thank you Bolivar Plumbing.

To be fair, I had used Bolivar plumbing in the past and was very satisfied with the service. Recently, I called on Bolivar plumbing to give me an estimate on installing new plumbing hook ups for a washing machine. Ron Bolivar came out to check out the job. After he decided what needed to be done, he said he would get back to us with an estimate. A week or so past and I hadn't heard anything so I gave a call to check on the estimate . I have never heard back from Bolivar plumbing. Maybe the job was to small? I don't know. A little courtesy would have saved me some time. I won't use Bolivar Plumbing again.

I moved into town four months ago and did not know of a local plumber to install a whole house water filter. When I called a plumber that I knew from the past, the quote seemed extremely high. The first plumber found Ron's(Bolivar) name on the hot water tank. Ron installed it nine years ago, clean work and no leaks. Not only did Ron call me back in less than two hours at the end of the day, his quote over the phone was $400 less than the one I had. Ron had availability within a few business days and three guys showed up five minutes early. What I thought was going to be a five hour job was done in a little over an hour. Fantastic service and I highly recommend them!

I have used them many times in the past and they've been great. However, the last two times I've tried to use them, I've left numerous messages and did not receive one call back. I'm terribly frustrated, at least give me the courtesy of a call back.

I called Bolivar Plumbing I thing it was December 2017 because my boiler wasn't working properly; it would turn on, but after few minutes it would shut off again. I read in internet several articles and recommendations but I couldn't figure it out, so I called them.

The plumber came, I told him what was happening and immediately he said the problem was the thermocouple. He replaced it in 5 minutes, and try to start it again. Same issue.

Then he checked the gas meter and he told me that I had no gas pressure and I had to contact my gas provider. He also billed me for $180.

The gas company came and replace the gas meter; problem solved.

I never asked the plumber how much would have he charged if he had check the gas meter first.

I called the plumber in the morning and left a message in order to have the toilet replaced. He called me back within 2 hours and send a plumber within 15 minutes. I paid $250, all inclusive even a water line. Before this installation, I was waiting to have a plumber whom Lowe's was supposed to send install the toilet for more than 10 days. I even paid $200 plus fee for permit but nothing was done. This plumbing company is my savior!
