Company Overview

Boise City Handyman specializes in plumbing and is fully licensed, though we also offer various other services. With experience in drywall installation, taping, texturing, and some painting, My network includes skilled tradespeople, ensuring I can deliver a wide array of handyman specialties.

Chuck Lichtenhan, the owner and operator, completed a five-year union apprenticeship for training and education. Upon completing my training in 2007, I successfully passed the Idaho plumbing exam to obtain my journeyman license. I gained experience in commercial and residential plumbing until 2012, when I chose to start Boise City Handyman.

Prior to my work in plumbing, I was a member of the United States Army and the Idaho Army National Guard from 1992 until 2006. Since 1995, I have resided in Idaho, when I transitioned from the United States Army to this area. Shortly after my move from Fort Lewis, WA, I enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard, serving my fellow Idahoans until 2006, when I completed my service and was honorably discharged.

In 2002, I embarked on my plumbing career, when I became a member of Local Union 296 in Meridian, ID. I graduated in 2007, successfully passed my exam, earning my journeyman plumber status. I have been involved in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing ever since. I have surrounded myself with skilled experts in the trades, gaining valuable insights that I am now eager to share with customers. I aim to deliver satisfaction with each job I undertake.
