Company Overview

At Boise City Handyman, we hold a license in plumbing, but our expertise covers a broader range. My background includes drywall work, taping, texturing, and a bit of painting. I have built solid relationships with professionals in various trades, ensuring I can deliver a wide array of handyman specialties.

As the owner and operator, I am Chuck Lichtenhan, was trained through a five-year union apprenticeship. After graduating in 2007, I successfully passed the Idaho plumbing exam to obtain my journeyman license. I worked in both commercial and residential plumbing until 2012, when I decided to establish Boise City Handyman.

Before my plumbing career, I was a member of the United States Army and the Idaho Army National Guard from 1992 until 2006. I moved to Idaho in 1995, when I transitioned from the United States Army to this area. Not long after relocating from Fort Lewis, WA, I enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard, serving my fellow Idahoans until 2006, when I was honorably discharged.

My plumbing career started in 2002, by joining Local Union 296 in Meridian, ID. I graduated in 2007, successfully passed my exam, earning my journeyman plumber status. I have continued to work in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing since then. I have connected with knowledgeable experts in the trades, gaining valuable insights that I am now eager to share with customers. I aim to deliver satisfaction with each job I undertake.
