At Boise City Handyman, we hold a license in plumbing, but our expertise covers a broader range. My background includes drywall work, taping, texturing, and a bit of painting. I have built solid relationships with professionals in various trades, allowing me to offer comprehensive handyman services.

I am Chuck Lichtenhan, the owner and operator of this business, underwent a five-year union apprenticeship for my training. After graduating in 2007, I successfully passed the Idaho plumbing exam to obtain my journeyman license. I gained experience in commercial and residential plumbing until 2012, when I made the decision to launch Boise City Handyman.

In my earlier life, I served in the United States Army and the Idaho Army National Guard from 1992 to 2006. Since 1995, I have resided in Idaho, when I transitioned from the United States Army to this area. Soon after arriving from Fort Lewis, WA, I enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard, serving my fellow Idahoans until 2006, when I received an honorable discharge.

In 2002, I embarked on my plumbing career, by joining Local Union 296 in Meridian, ID. In 2007, I finished my training, passed my exam, and became a journeyman plumber. Since then, I have worked in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing. I have surrounded myself with skilled experts in the trades, and have learned a great deal, which I am now enthusiastic to pass on to my customers. I strive to provide satisfaction with every task.
