Update: As of 7/15 half of the work has been completed. We were guaranteed all work would be completed by 7/14 by Jeremey (after posting reviews and contacting the BBB & FTC). We were informed at that time that the reason (now the third excuse) we weren't being scheduled was because the 2-10 Home Warranty was not covering the labor costs and were needed to pay out of pocket. Technicians showed up 7/13 for day 1 of the two day job, only to find out they had the wrong AC unit and did not have the parts they needed. Their initial response was to just leave and come back another day, however Jeremy was contacted and someone was instructed to deliver the missing parts. While installing in the crawl space our gas line to the kitchen was turned off and piping was removed. We were not informed that this was removed and the technicians left at 1:30 (we were told it was a 2 full day project) without any heads up. The line was left open, disconnected from the kitchen, and turned off. It was not until the next morning that we discovered we did not have gas to the kitchen. We called Jordan in customer service and he immediately became defensive saying there was no way it was the techs from Boiling Springs that would have unhooked our gas and we should contact the gas company directly. Four hours later we called back and Jordan said it was in fact the techs and we could just crawl under the house and turn the knob back on. It wasn't until we discovered the actual pipe was missing that Jordan then informed us the techs didn't have what they needed to finish the job the previous day so they left. Turning the knob back on as instructed would have resulted in an open gas line leak. They could not come fix this for us until after 4pm two days after the initial install. Additionally, they did not have the correct part to fix the second floor unit and did not inform us they would not be returning the following day as scheduled. Friday afternoon when Jeremy was finally able to come fix the gas line pipe he said we should be scheduled for the following Tuesday, maybe. I spoke with Jordan this morning to ask what day this week we would be scheduled and he said """"it ain't going to be this week, we're waiting on the part from 2-10."""" He wasn't sure why Jeremy would have said Tuesday, when he didn't even speak to 2-10 until Friday (however they discovered they needed an additional part from them on Tuesday). I told Jordan his condescending attitude was not appreciated and he said """"he was frustrated people were saying things without consulting him."""" I told him I am frustrated to have not had AC since MAY and all work was guaranteed to be completed last week. They have had more than 2 months to order the parts and verify they are correct for our service. Jordan will not put us in contact with Jeremy (who seems to be the only person who can get things in motion) nor does he have a sense of any basic customer service skills. He seems more concerned with what his defense strategy is since he continues to interrupt on the phone and does not call back or provide any updates.

My house is right now. Sitting at 78°. We had them come out twice and they said nothing was wrong. I'm sorry but if you don't thanks nothing's wrong. Obviously there is something wrong with your company. And you need to hire new people. We paid them $500 to fix. Nothing absolutely horrific this place really needs to shut down!

I'd like to post 0 stars but not able to. Initially we were extremely excited about this company. They saved us a lot of money on our unit and actually took us away from Waldrop Heating and Air who we adored. Boiling Springs Heating and Air """"sold"""" us on a wonderful price on a unit, 2 year free service agreement and a convenience PROMISE. The unit they installed has broken 4 times now and it's only been 2 months. The first 2 times they were friendly and accomodating, the 3rd time they weren't as much and when the technician finally came out, he tried to instruct ME on what to do if it breaks again.....then back tracked and said """"well i guess you would call us if you need help huh?"""" lol Now I'm sitting in an 89 degree house and I have called Boiling Springs Heating and Air, left a message and no one is responding. I've even driven to their business and it's closed. On a saturday in July!!! Update: I put a call in to Davis Heating and Air and Waldrop. Davis actually picked up when I called and they were at the house within the hour. Before 10am. Thank you Davis! Not to mention Davis showed us physical evidence where Boiling Springs had messed up the piping to our unit which was the whole reason it kept going out. It's 3:00pm now and Boiling Springs H/A hasn't even called to respond to my initial service request. That shows you how much these people care about you. Just like the other reviews....I probably will never hear back from them again.

Jason and Nick came out and saved us! The fan wasn't spinning on the outside unit. They found some cut wires (probably accidental from a weed eater), and quickly were able to fix it. They also were totally fine with my million questions, giving me different options, and were generally down to earth, and helpful! They are going to be my go to service providers!

**Unreliable Service - Avoid Boiling Springs Heating and Air** I hired Boiling Springs Heating and Air (aka Bulldog services) in June, for AC service, including cleaning and a new capacitor. Despite their work, my AC continued to struggle. A follow-up visit didn't fix the issue, and they advised keeping the thermostat at 73°F, which didn't help. I hired a reputable HVAC company shortly after, who found that Boiling Springs Heating and Air didn't perform the cleaning properly and failed to check the refrigerant levels. After correcting these issues, my AC finally worked as it should. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with them, they have not responded since. I believe their poor service justifies a refund though I have yet to receive one. Avoid this company if you want reliable HVAC service.

After selling me a new unit and a """"10 year warranty"""" a year and a half ago, I can truly say there is NO MORE TERRIBLE SERVICE COMPANY I have ever dealt with. They left me with no A/C right after the installation over the 4th of July holiday weekend for 4 days. Then fixed it and it broke again.. fixed it and it broke again. Down 3 Times in the first 2 months! Now fast forward to a year and a half later I find out they didn't set the system up correctly at all. The fan was not configured to run correctly on heat and the aux heat wasn't even enabled during the install. They also left dirt particles in the refrigerant lines and caused my system to burn out the compressor and I had to pay out of pocket to replace the lines and the refrigerant. I have since gotten American Veteran Heating and Air setup with the distributor to handle my Amana 10 Year warranty. They are AWESOME! PLEASE avoid Boiling Springs Heating and Air at all cost or expect the worse!

I stumbled across this company about a year ago. We came home to find out our air conditioning was not working. Because it was August, it was hard to find someone to come out the following day. We were able to get in touch with Boiling Springs Heating and Air. I had not read any reviews, online, of this company. Had I done so, I would have not ever had them to my home. My outdoor unit had frozen as had my evaporator coils. I am religious about changing air filters so I knew there was a real issue. BS H& A diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor. They said they would get one on order but it would be the end of the week. That gave me pause because I have had AC repairs, at my other home, and never had to wait a week for a part. Additionally, I often deal with AC contractors at my job and never wait on parts. But I went along with it because I just wanted the unit repaired. They did bring two window units to install, which I really appreciated. The work was quoted at over $600. Something didn't sit right with me. I contacted another HVAC company to come out and inspect. I did not tell them what BS H&A had diagnosed. The technician was professional and very clean. He went into my attic and returned shortly with pictures. He said he was unable to complete an inspection because my fan motor was gone. He showed me pictures. Sure enough, BS H&A left with my fan motor. I talked with the tech who stated that is not a normal practice and, typically, they would just write down the make, model, and serial number. He also stated that this part could be had in the same day. After he left, I contact BS H&A with my concerns. I received a nasty, unprofessional email from the owner. He stated I could cancel my job but I would get to pay the shipping and handling on the part and they would promptly yank the two temp window units out of my house. I was in disbelief. We exchanged a couple of emails and I agreed, against my better judgement, to let the work continue. The repair was completed with my fiance at home. She felt like they had no idea what they were doing. Again, against my better judgement, we agreed to their """"service plan"""" since it discounted the fan motor job. We never did see the part they removed. A few weeks later, BS H & A showed up to do our fall inspection. They found about $400 in repairs that needed to be done on our unit. We agreed. However, we also decided that we would not renew the service agreement nor use them again in the future. Spring arrives, as does BS H & A for our summer tune up. They are running late because, as the tech tells me, he just had to tell someone they needed TWO new units for their home. The tech goes into our attic, followed by my fiance and comments that there is white powder on the unit which """"is very bad"""". He then proceeds to run a device quickly over the unit and tells my fiancee we have a freon leak AND need to get a new evaporator coil immediately. My fiance gets downstairs and tells me to not listen to the tech and say no. Sure enough, he comes downstairs and says he has bad news. He doesn't explain the problem to me at all but instead begins to quote me the prices to replace the evaporator coil OR simply replace the system. He states it makes much more sense to replace the entire system. I'm in disbelief. My system is less than 10 years old. He proceeds to go outside for his inspection. My fiance follows and the tech asks her if I have good credit and wants to discuss my credit score with her. When he returns inside he tells me that the the ball bearings in the outside system are about to go and we need to make a decision quickly. He asks if we want a second opinion and I stammer yes. He then states he can call his boss out. That's not a second opinion! He also states he cannot provide written quotes for evap coiler or new units since they are going paperless! However, he finally does and we bid him good night. I employ two individuals with HVAC licenses at my work. The next day, we reviewed the quotes and prior work completed by this company. They shared that I am being taken advantage of and that this company is out of line. About a month later, I call out another HVAC company for a spring tune-up. I told them nothing about my visit with BS H&A. They found nothing wrong with my unit. At the beginning of August, I contacted, in writing, BS H&A to cancel my service plan. I asked for written confirmation and received none. My finance called them and was assured they received my email and that we will not be billed for the plan. Lo and behold, I received an alert that they billed me again! Stay away from this company. I do not believe they are honest and believe they work to sell as many new units as they can whether warranted or not. I noticed their truck a few doors down, recently, at a house that is less than 4 years old...they were able to convince that homeowner they needed a whole new system!
