We moved into an old house two years ago and have needed several plumbing repairs. Bogie has been outstanding in every way. He can usually come within a day or two. He has done minor repairs and fixed clogged drains. He has also done bigger jobs--fixed a major in-wall leak (figuring out how to get at the problem without tearing out part off a wall) and recently installed a new laundry tub. He thinks before he acts and often comes up with a creative solution that saves money and minimizes damage/repairs--as he did in repairing an ancient bathtub drain, saving us from the expense of replacing the whole tub. He is meticulous and detail-oriented and always cleans up the work areas. He is also friendly and fast, and his prices are reasonable. It's reassuring to have a reliable, skillful plumber you can count on, especially when you live in an old house. Highly recommended.

I have used Bogie's Plumbing for a few years now. He is very good at his work and his prices are fair. He is my preferred plumber and I will definitely use him again.

Do not use this plumber. I met him in person on my street as he was working in another home and requested a quote for my project. I clearly explained to him that the only problem was that the water was running ice cold in the steam shower; every other faucet in the home was fine. He quoted me $450 in case he had to cut the tile then reseal it, and that could take ""a lot of time."" I explained that I certainly could not afford more than that, so he understood that cost was a large concern. I hired him for the job, which took 30 minutes maximum as the shower plate easily screwed off and the straightforward issue of a balancing valve was easily replaced ($70 part, understood). He took another 5-7 minutes to clean a sink drain, for a total of 40 minutes. I was writing the check by 8:42am. This man still charged me $450. That is sickening. I wrote the check in shock, commented on the high cost for a simple project, he said nothing. Later in the day, I sent a very kind text reminding him the original quote for was a job that would take several hours (he estimated up to 8-1030a) and involve resealing tile etc, which was never performed because the plate screwed on and off easily. Bogie then tried to say the $380/hr cost was because his nephew had to wait in his truck, when actually he used that as an excuse for parking difficulty if he was late, a completely separate conversation from the quote. I am in disbelief that people exist in the world today without any level of ethical regard. As a plumber with ""40 years of experience,"" he certainly could have anticipated with almost no uncertainly that the issue was a simple fix based on my report and the plate in place. He actually called me back twice to try to justify his fee, stating it was because the nephew was in the car. I am a therapist who treats brain injury, cancer, and spinal cord injury patients, and I would never charge even a fraction of these fees. What a shame people behave this way.

A very Knowledgeable man. Bogie is definitely one of the top plumbers. He's prompt and cleans up after every job.
