Recommended Customer Reviews
Highly recommend Boevaag Plumbing as I was thoroughly impressed with their crew and quality of work on our basement bathroom install and finish. They will be the first number I call for any future plumbing work.
I had a leak from my upstairs shower into my basement bathroom. Boevaag Plumbing was the only plumber I could get a hold of that would help me fix the leak same day. The guys that came out were very nice and knowledgeable. Found the issue and was able to fix it quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I also had one of the guys walk around my house with me and pointed out other plumbing questions/concerns I had. He gave me his honest feedback without pushing work gets done. He gave me quotes for some cosmetic things I asked about and made sure my other plumbing concerns were up to code. The only thing he advised I get fixed was swapping out my washing machine hoses and he said I could do that myself. He told me what to get and where. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend Boevaag Plumbing.
Lisa L.NEVER USE Boevaag Plumbing, here's the exact story of why; I needed to have a tub set, permit pulled, and it all plumbed with new pipes and faucets. Joe, who I'm assuming is the owner, came to give me a quote and saw all that needed to be done. We received the quote and went ahead with their service. Upon his teams arrival they told me the tub couldn't be set by them due to the tub overhanging the floor tile and that they wouldn't cut through the tile. I totally understood this so with no other options, I had another contractor come to set the tub... I asked how this is going to reflect on the original quote he provided? As now it was costing me $550+ for the tub to be set by someone else. Joe would not adjust the price, and he sent a text to decline the job. I felt I gave him all the information to get a full quote as he saw everything that was there. My contractor called to professionally handle the situation, asked him if he brings a tape measure for his estimates, and Joe COWARDLY hung up on him. I feel as I DODGED A HUGE BULLET HERE as I cannot believe how extremely UNPROFESSIONAL this whole operation was. PLEASE, read this and don't make the same mistake... do NOT use this company EVER.
Chelsea P.If I could give this review a 0 star rating, unfortunately I would. I utilize a home warranty service and they designated Boevaag as the service provider. When I called the number provided, it was clear that this number was a cell phone, which again, is fine but the individual answered with a ""hello?!"". I was worried I had called the wrong number so I explained the above connection and then I received a pause.
I waited it out and he finally said ""WELL I haven't received anything!"" I mentioned the provider sent the claim this morning and asked if a claim number would help. He gruffly replied that ""NO, it wouldn't.""
Regardless of a service provider not being sent the appropriate information, my expectation is that the interaction is still positive. So that when the plumbing/HVAC/etc company gets the information, I feel comfortable having them in my home.
I then had to follow up and request next steps from him instead of giving me, the customer, some sort of summary. Oftentimes when you reach out to a plumbing organization, it is because of a 911 or stressful need. I can't imagine dealing with this gentleman in one of those scenarios. Will NOT be using.
These guys rocked it!. I called in and was asked to call the guy in the field who I reached and he was at our house in less than 20 minutes, diagnosed the problem quickly and then proceed to solve it. This was all accomplished within less than an hour of my call!!! I would call this company anytime for plumbing needs!
I had just a relatively simple bathroom sink problem, which they repaired in a timely fashion. I called them back two months later for what I thought was a problem related to the first repair and that it might not have been a good fix after all. It turned out to be my mistake and it was really a separate problem. Nevertheless I was charged only for a house call. I thought that was very professional and I highly recommend them.
Used them twice, once a few years ago for a smaller repair and recently for a new water heater. Our experience a few years ago was fine, but the recent heater install was not. Very poorly installed and not very helpful. They literally left the house with a flooded basement. Called to get ask them to picked up the garbage and fix the leaking fitting they installed. They were more concerned with their schedule than fixing our problem and our interactions varied with them between unhelpful to rude.
You can do much much better than this one I'm afraid.
