Do not call Boelke for service or new equipment. They charge insanely exorbitant prices. As an example, I needed the blower motor on our furnace replaced and I thought I would have them do the job. I could not believe it when their serviceman quoted me $900 for a motor I could purchase for $100 myself! A business is entitled to a fair profit, but this was obscene. I paid the $100 service call charge and sent the Boelke guy on his way. And yes, I went out and purchased a new motor and installed it myself. Lesson learned - there are some local contractors who will gouge you on price of you don't know better. Boelke is one.

Furnace stopped working and Matt K was here within the hour. He replaced a motor and we were warm again in minutes. Super professional service, very friendly, did a thorough job checking out everything and offering suggestions to improve efficiency and comfort. Highly recommended, and our new ""Go-To"" for HVAC issues.

My husband and I bought an older home and decided to upgrade the mechanics before they started dying on us. Boelcke replaced two old hot water heaters with a more efficient tankless heater. They also replaced the furnace and AC unit. We added a whole house humidifier for those dry winters, dehumidifier for those sticky summers, and a whole house generator to keep us up and running. This was all done while we were still living in San Diego. Don was great managing the project from start to finish and the crew kept us apprised of their progress since we weren't there in person. Fast forward about six months, we have finally moved into the house and they sent a technician out to explain how everything works, how to change filters, etc. He was so friendly and patient with all my questions. He also explained their annual service program which we will definitely sign up for. And they didn't even give me a hard time for being late to my own appointment. I couldn't recommend Boelcke more! Check them out!

Professional with good communication except for the prices. I had to pay $220 for a service call just to tell me I needed a new furnace. $220 for 15 minutes is outrageous. And then you need another appointment for a furnace quote. I had to pass on the install. I really felt like they took advantage of me even after I paid $500+ for some plumbing work weeks prior.

We are so pleased! We bought a 1950s built house and had them come out to service the air conditioning. Even though the equipment at the house is old, they cleaned it up and feel we still can get several years out of it. Nick, the serviceman, was professional and pleasant and explained everything he was going to do. We are very happy with the service and signed up for yearly service of our heating and A/C.

Our family has experienced two major systems failures this holiday, and Boelcke has truly saved the day. They made us a priority as our basement was on the verge of flooding as a result of a water heater springing a significant leak. A technician was out to stop the flooding within 30 minutes, and got us scheduled for a replacement. Then our AC died on the 4th, and they got somewhat out ASAP to get us up and running again. Every technician that has crossed our threshold has been professional, courteous, and competent. It's been an expensive weekend, but I have only wonderful things to say about Boelcke.

After a recent AC install, I needed to get a final invoice and AHRI certification number to get a $300 utility rebate. Boelcke ignored my repeated requests for this information (both by email and by response to their own customer survey). Because of Boelcke's failure to provide this basic information, I missed the deadline for getting the rebate.

They never showed up for our service cleaning, called them up and asked where they were at why they missed the appointment, and they said they lost our address and phone number! So they said they would send someone out by the afternoon. Well guess what? No show again! Called them up again and the woman that answered the phone was Very very rude!! I had taken off work a half day then missed the rest of the day and had to call another company. Didn't have to miss any work cause the other guy works with your schedule!!

I would highly recommend Boelcke Heating. Dan, Andrew and Ray were here on the first day...on time, they were quiet, neat and very polite. The next day Dan and Jim came back to finish the job. The job was finished when they said it would be finished and now my home is cooling off nicely. Don't bother calling anyone else for your heating or air conditioning needs, these guys are the ones to call!
