The solution took little time, he had the ""vintage"" part needed and was out in no time. Rates are probably average, but his knowledge of old plumbing probably saved us $.

Willy has worked for me for 30+ years and he is the absolute best. Years ago, in an emergency, two other plumbers came out and neither one could fix the problem. Willy arrived, and the problem (and it was a huge one) was fixed in less than 10 or 15 minutes. He is so good I hesitate to give out his name and number to others as his schedule is nearly always full. Willy is fair, honest, reasonable, and knows his craft like no one else. He is always my very first choice when it comes to any type of plumbing work. He has my highest recommendation.
