Since there seem to be some skewed reviews here .... My first experience with this company was today. I needed parts for a medium sized building that had need for discontinued parts. The service detail and cost all lend themselves to my driving by many competitors to return again and again.

It certainly appears that reasonable expectations are in order. I believe this out of the way stop has saved me hundreds of dollars and a dozen hours with less helpful more expensive competitors.

It should also be noted that True Value Hardware on Washinton in Cedarburg made the referal to this business. To that young man I owe a debt of gratitude. There is always room for a first rate referal that solves a problem.

You both have a slice that may have gone to bloated big box competitors due to your reasonably calculating the cost of a solution gone good.

We have used Boehlke for years. It continues to amaze me how quickly they arrive, and their expertise in attending to our issues without need for additional follow up. Prices are fair and clearly accounted for. We have an older home with many issues...wouldn't trust anyone else. New homes are an easy slam-dunk for them!

I have used Boehlke several times over the last three years. I was very satisfied and happy with their quick response and completeness of the job. I did have some concerns over the cost, but felt that it is was it is. My last experience was not so good. I made sure that I kept track of the time they arrived until the time they left. 55 minutes. Then the repairs weren't done accurately in my opinion because after several days I noticed the toilet was still running and not stopping as it should. They came back out and I was charged another trip charge to repair what they had just put in and i was told well it was working when we left. Nothing should fail to work after one day. Obviously a part failure or failure to properly check the operation. A Second trip charge including the time to drive here. No consideration for the labor charges, just well it didn't work and we had to fix it. Will definitely look for another plumber from now on. $325 for Labor.

Thursday evening we noticed we no longer had hot water. Thanks goodness our water heater was not leaking. It was installed in 1994 so we knew we needed a new one. Friday morning I called Boehlke's (based on my neighbor's recommendation) at 7:20 am. By 8:45 the plumber arrived with a new water heater. When he looked at our old one, he advised us that is was a coupler that broke and part would be around $10. However, after a brief discussion with my husband we decided to replace our 26 year old water heater. We figured a 26-year old water heater was on 'borrowed time'. Two hours later the work was done. I am sorry I didn't get the name of the gentleman that installed it because I want to assure you that he was efficient, polite, and professional. I will certainly use Boehlke's again if the need arises.
