Bodine Scott installed 2 new Carrier units at my new home in Rockport which we moved into in March 2015. One unit stopped cooling in the hot summer of 2018, this was due to a 50% loss of coolant. I paid Bodine Scott to recharge the system. This worked for a short time but the problem persisted shortly thereafter. The system was then diagnosed as a coolant leak in the evaporator coil and Bodine Scott replaced the coil. This new Carrier coil had a manufacturer defect and this defect caused this unit to drain the condensation onto my hardwood floors, ruining a large area of flooring. Bodine Scott then again replaced the evaporator coil. This coil still works today. Bodine Scott came to my home 8 times to get this right and even sent a flooring man to my home. They promised to fix my flooring on several occasions and failed to even follow through. I then sued Bodine Scott in small claims court in Aransas County and the Justice of the Peace found that I should be compensated for the water damage to my home. Bodine Scott refuses to pay. My floors are still in disrepair. I personally will never use Bodine Scott again or the defective Carrier product that damaged my home. Christopher Mundahl is the Bodine Scott representative who failed to follow through after promising to repair my home damage.

The entire staff from sales, accounts receivable, permit and inspection coordinators these friendly, kind and understanding folks have removed much of the stress with this project.
I did my homework, called at least 5 trades for each of the key elements in this process, Many trades did not even bother to call back and those that did, their quotes were higher without a substantial guarantee. I truly feel based on my research Bodine-Scott is treating us fairly. They responded to our requests in a professional manner and that professionalism continued to their actual work.
Bodine-Scott even helped with the additional items that the City required in order for us to get our building permit at no additional charge.

The reason why I have Bodine-Scott a one star is the lack of COVID safety protocol. Installer didn't have proper face mask when entering our house. His face mask had to many holes make it easy to spread Covid. The installer knows his job did a great job

ZERO STARS! READ ALL THEIR ONE STAR REVIEWS! These charlatans totally botched a $14,000 install that voided my warranty! All of their promises were nothing more than lies. They claimed to be certified by the manufacturer to install my unit. In fact, they only had one person who was certified. The week after my installation, he quit the company, leaving me without anyone who knew how to repair my unit. I hired a professional energy auditor to review their installation. He told me everything about it was wrong. They just threw down a prefabricated pad on top of my old pad and leveled it with wood blocks! WOOD BLOCKS! The unit was oversized. The ductwork was undersized. My air return box was half the size of what it needed to be. The unit was so starved for air it started sucking in humid air from the outside, through my walls, through my addict and around door frames. My home was quickly invaded by mold. The back wall of my den, which was paneling, was totally warped and ruined by the humid air. That cost me thousands of dollars to get it repaired! My hall closet, which is my addict access, was totally overtaken by black mold. The unit sucks hot humid air out of my attic and sweats constantly on the indoor unit. Bodine Scott sent out their "best" tech to look at my unit. He stayed at my house for 10 hours scratching his head, having no idea what he was looking at. They charged me over $500.00 and told me I needed a new part. They said they would order the part and get back to me. THREE MONTHS went by and nobody ever called me! After multiple complaints. Their "best tech" returned to replace the part. Only, he did not replace the part. I had marked it with my initials. He pretended to replace it, said it had been repaired and immediately left. No testing whatsoever to ensure the unit was working correctly. After complaining again. Do you think they apologized to me? No, they told me they had nobody who knew how to repair the unit and they wouldn't be coming out to my home anymore. These people are shysters.

I just want to thank Quinton and his supervisor for saving us from blistering heat today. They got here quickly and fixed the problem in just minutes with a new capacitor. We have cooling again thanks to these thoughtful and kind and caring gentlemen. Thank you both so much andcthsnkbyouvto Bidine Scott.

Our new system does not keep it 20 degrees cooler from outside....EVER. The owners son Chris never showed up or called the day he was supposed to (or any day after for that matter!). After getting the builder Steve Homes involved, the engineer Bruce came out and preformed a test on the unit and he was supposed to call with his test results by last Thursday, no call received. We have a brand new unit and they DONT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! They only seem to care about "big" jobs. They put in the worst system imaginable. Wrong size duct work for the unit. Airflow is off throughout the house. Terrible company. Do not use them. Please do your research and use anyone else. Also research which company your builder used so you aren't stuck with dealing with them like we are! Private message me for more information on them. I kept record of all visits with multiple pics for proof our ac does not work.

FYI, my little brother Gabriel Villarreal was ran off of the road on Friday Morning at about 11:30 AM 9/14/2018 Located Kostoryz going towards Staples. His vehicle was not because he drove off the road and did a bad curb check. When he called they stated that the individual in charge would call him back on Monday. When he was contacted they basically told him because there vehicle did not come in contact with his vehicle they were not responsible for anything. Please share this with friends and family. Because this could happen to you and or your loved ones, lucky for him he was not harmed in this cause but the next person my not be so lucky.

Mine and my husband's AC in our home went out sometime around 12am last Sunday, I called and left a voicemail. I had explained all of my health issues and they called me back and had a man named Able come over to get the AC unit running. Able did get the AC unit and he was in and out of out home our home in 10minutes. I was hesitant to call them back because of the service the Able provided. Low and behold the AC unit started acting up again. I called back and spoke with Brittany and she advised me to shut the AC unit off completely and she would send someone over first thing in the next morning. Sure enough first thing in the morning I received a Text from Thomas (Tommy) and he fixed the AC unit, he didn't rush and he actually took pipes apart to clean them very well. He took the time to explain to my husband and I what he had to do and if we asked him to show us what he was talking about, he didn't hesitate. My husband and I are aware that our AC unit still needs some more work on it done. We have already scheduled and we pray that Mr. Tommy will be the one to finish the rest of the work needed. Not only my husband and liked the way Mr. Tommy did his job on Monday only my in laws did as well and they live across the street caddy corner and even stopped to check on how the AC unit repair was coming a long and they too were very impressed with Mr. Tommy's knowledge. Bodine-Scott we applaud you for having this young man Mr. Tommy working for you guys!

Our home AC broke early Saturday morning, we called Bodine-Scott that as soon as we woke up and they got someone to come to the house that day. A guy comes to the house to check what's wrong with our AC and he said our motor broke and he would just need to call to get a part, but should be in on Monday. Monday came, we called Bodine-Scott and they said they have the part and someone can come to the house noon on Tuesday.
(Mind you, I have a full time job and 2 indoor dogs)
Tuesday came and I had requested to be half day at work since Bodine-Scott said they will be there at the house at noon. I rush home to be there by noon, got home at 11am and waited...6pm no one is there so I called Bodine-Scott and told them no one came, the lady on the phone said that the technician was backed up so he will come to the house Wednesday noon.
Again, I had to request half day at work. Wednesday arrived, came home at 11am from work and waited..waited..waited.. I called at 4pm and I asked if someone is still coming, the lady on the phone (Melissa) said "the technician is backed up, but he will be there." Ok, so I gave the tech sometime. 6pm...8pm... no one!! So I'm starting to get really annoyed so I call back again at 9:30pm and I let Melissa have it over the phone. I told her that they are not doing good business because I had to request time off from work and I'm losing money and yet they can't tell me an ETA?? So I told her I know exactly how you run your business. They go to peoples houses/business where they can get more money. My AC was under warranty so I only had to pay $170 so they put my house on the bottom of the list. So I said if you don't get someone to the house by tonight (Wednesday) I will go to the local Chanel news station and complain how you run your business. DING! She said she will get someone to the house in less than 1 hour.
And to my surprise, someone arrived in 1 hour to fix the AC. Don't forget we live in Texas so the House was HOT, it was even hotter than the temperature from the outside!! Thank goodness the AC was fixed, but NEVER again will use this company.

Installed and Carrier AC unit on June 6,2017. My old unit did a better job of cooling house. MY neighbor said unit when it comes on at night would wake them. I have called several times complaining at loud noise from unit. Unit would run all day come to find out that compressor is overheating and shutting down and only interior fan is running. happened all summer house would be up to 81 degrees inside. I made recording of ac running while making noise the tech said, "Sound like a normal unit to me". Another Tech said the problem was with the Nest Thermostat that was in September of last year took nest off-line seemed to work ok but hot part of summer was over. Friday of last week same problem started late afternoon temp climbed to 83 degrees. Called another AC contractor to come out to look at,Tech said "Your compressor is not working it is to hot to touch so it has turned itself off because of over heating. Your compressor is bad the capacitor is good, call Bodine Scott and tell them what I said".
called them to day after much heated discussion the will send some one out today to look at.
