This Visit:
Bodine was able to quickly come out and help diagnose the water leaking in our basement. It turned out to be a leaking furnace in another corner of the basement leaking under the floorboards. Instead of trying to sell us anything we didn't need, he actively helped us troubleshoot and find the issue so we could point the furnace company right to it. This visit didn't make Bodine a sale, but it did make me a customer for life! Highly recommend Bodine Construction

Previous Visit 2019:
Bodine Construction came out and helped resolve a sewer/drainage issue that another sewer/drainage company had caused, and essentially went to bat for us to get us some of our money back from the previous company. On top of that their prices were fair and their work was great. We had a couple other companies out to look at the issue, but it felt like they just wanted to sell something. With Bodine, it felt like they were there to help and solve the problem, not just make a sale. And they did! Great help, great work, great people. Bodine should be your top choice; I highly recommend them.

had water bubbling up near our house while we were out of town. called Bodine for an emergency and they responded within an hour. discovered a root caused a pin hole leak in water main. repaired and charged a fair price for the service. this is our third experience with Bodine and can recommend them with confidence.

We had water coming in to the basement of our 1904 house during heavy rains. It wound up being a tricky problem because there were issues with both an existing interior drain that didn't extend far enough and exterior pavers that were funneling water over the foundation. Bodine diagnosed the issues and gave us options to fix. We wound up going with an exterior channel drain that will keep water away from the house entirely. The quality of the work was excellent. Steve spent a bunch of time with me (both in person and with videos) to explain what they were doing. Cost was very reasonable. Would 100% recommend Bodine to anyone with water remediation issues.

We just used Bodine Construction to help sort out an issue with our perimeter drain system backflowing into our crawl space, and they were absolutely fantastic.

They sent out a crew to scope and flush the system, who discovered that our main drainpipe -- where the entire system converged -- was crushed, meaning no water was actually able to drain as intended. This also included footage from the camera/scope and the full map of our drainage system.

Based on that, Steve and his team gave us an estimate for the work required to fix the pipe... which unfortunately was sitting right behind an 8-foot high rock wall running along the front of our property. The crew came, disassembled the corner of the wall, replaced and improved the pipe (added sleeving, etc), and then rebuilt the rock wall beautifully; they were incredibly polite, skilled, and receptive to our feedback on how the rebuilt wall looked (and even redid it as a result). A second crew came a few days later to add some drain basins in key spots on the property to improve drainage in spots not covered by the gutter system.

The final price was right on the estimate, and felt so, so reasonable given the work and care Bodine put into the project. I hope we're never in a situation where we need to call them out again but if so, we'd use them again without hesitation.

I don't have enough good things to say about Bodine. I ended up choosing Bodine for two reasons: 1. Steve spent over an hour at my house doing the initial inspection of the work. He was insanely thorough, conscientious, and detail-oriented, down to the fact that he brought a map of the server on file from the county. This, of course, is in contrast to the other basement/drainage experts I brought out. 2. The entire community on NextDoor (of all places...) seemed to recommend Bodine when I posted a set of photos about my water problem and asking if anyone had any idea why water was randomly pooling up in my basement with no visible signs of cracking. So it's not just me recommending them but a dozen other people, too... long before I made any calls to get them to some scope out a bid.

Fast forward and Bodine recently installed a full drainage system in my basement. The entire team is honest, transparent, conscientious, responsive and all around wonderful to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Loved that the crew showed up on time. They worked hard all day. The 5 day project turned into 25 days and most importantly Bodine stood by their bid. They are very honest, trustworthy, reliable and professional. Dane is the best foreman. Ask for Ken for a bid. He is an honest man . Glad my 2nd project is now completed.

Before Steve came, I hired 3 plumper, 1 geological engineer and 2 construction companies to fix the very serious living room water leaking issue, none of them could figure out the issue and cost me $1000 without anything resolved, even 1 construction company told me, I need spend $30,000+ to rebuild the construction...
Then Steve Bodine came to the house and did a very detail investigation and guaranteed fix the issue. His excellent estimate saved us that $30,000+, and he figured out that the root is not construction but drainage system.
Here is the detail of the project:
1. Diagnostic $800 (the living room issue almost gone after the 3 hours diagnostic, actually not only diagnostic but clean drainage pipes)
2. Rebuild the weatherproof membrane drainage system to exterior of foundation $6800
3. Additional drain pipes of corner $725
4. Gutter clean $250

The issue totally gone after Steve's team completed the project, Thanks Steve, Gary and the team, I am really appreciate it! Awesome job!

Didn't use their services because it cost $150 to get a quote. I'm just starting my drainage fix and have no clue how much it should cost but I'm not going to spend $150 on a quote. Yes, that fee is applied to the work IF you sign with them. But how do I know I want to sign with them unless I know beforehand how much they are charging?! Nope. Not using this company. Free quotes are a part of construction and to not offer one because you're ""too busy"" sounds way too greedy to me.
