I would definitely recommend Mr. Bodie, and will be having him back again to do more work in our home. I am a first time homeowner and don't know much of anything about anything, but Mr. Bodie took the time to check everything out, show me what was wrong, explain what he was doing, and do the job right. He installed a new bathroom sink (which required cutting out all the old piping under the sink and retrofitting and adapter-ing the new pipes in, thanks Ikea...), replaced a rusted-through drain and pipe underneath my kitchen sink, and wired and installed an overhead light and smoke alarm. It was about 4.5 hours of work and came to $600 total including parts, which I feel is very reasonable. As other reviews mentioned, Mr. Bodie is a really interesting, funny, and cool guy who makes you want to hang out and chat with him as he does his work. I will definitely be asking him to come back again in the future. - Paul

This man is an artist! We wanted a light over our dining table where there was no existing wiring, so Arthur made it happen -- and fast! It involved drilling holes in the sheetrock of the wall, and more holes in the ceiling, and yet more holes through several beams (!!) in the ceiling, but he patched everything so beautifully in the end, you'd never know. We'd definitely choose Arthur again and recommend him 100%.

Aside from being an absolutely awesome human being with a multitude of talents, Arthur fixed SIX overhead lights in my office and replaced faulty automatic switches in what felt like no time at all. His rates are extremely reasonable, he's punctual and MY LIGHTS ARE FIXED. I've been fighting with those lights for 6 months! He's fantastic!

Arthur came to my rescue for two jobs, neither of which were simple. The first was the replacement of my hot water valve in the kitchen. It had probably been corroded and nonfunctional for decades. He worked with my super to cut the hot water, wielded his impressive welding equipment, and replaced the value in under a half hour. Then, he installed a lovely new faucet. Arthur is punctual, friendly, and skilled. I have lots more jobs for him now that I know he's so reliable.

Very happy with his work. He has gone above and beyond to solve all kinds of repairs. He works quickly and efficiently. I have brought him back to do multiple repairs. I agree about the fun friendly personality as well.

Arthur just installed a ceiling light fixture for me and I just want to concur with everyone else here - he's terrific to deal with, showed up at the agreed upon time, dealt with my building's paperwork in a timely manner, and got the job done quickly and cleanly. Plus, as others have said, he has a fun, friendly personality. I'm definitely hoping to bring him back for more jobs!

Arthur Bodie did a great job installing a ceiling fan. Was punctual, did not cut corners, was extremely patient, made sure everything was installed properly and worked correctly, did not leave a mess, and was cheaper then everyone else. Highly recommended!
