I got back from vacation recently to a door hanger from JEA stating that I would need my backflow preventer to be inspected as part of a routinely scheduled check. I think they send them out every few years. Included was an estimate from a competitor for $395. It's not huge money, but I thought that I would call someone else and get a quote just to make sure that it was a fair price. I found Bob's as a preferred vendor on the JEA website so I gave them a call. I spoke with Wendy at Bob's backflow, and she informed me that they could beat the price on my previous estimate and that if the unit could be repaired instead of replaced I might even be able to get it done for less. Great news! I scheduled it, they made the repair promptly and were able to simply repair the unit. So to recap - the work was done on time and under budget. How often does that happen these days? Thanks guys!

I recently gave them a 5-Star review for installing a backflow preventer and, if a could, I'd add a sixth star. Brittney called and told me they realized they may have charged me for a part I didn't need. At first, I couldn't understand what she meant, mostly because some businesses might not even let me know that. Beyond that, she told me she was processing a refund for the amount I was charged. This 5-Star review is for their honesty! I am still amazed that Brittany called and, I also credit her for how personable she was and I appreciate her honesty!

Nicholas from Bob's Back flow arrived at my house early this morning. He replaced the BFP promptly. He was so professional and knowledgeable regarding the BFP and did a fantastic job. The office staff was very helpful and so kind. Now I am in compliance with JEA. Give them a call, you will be very satisfied.

I found this business because they came out to my place of work to inspect our back flow system and at the time I needed a back flow installed at my house so I asked for a card. I called and requested an estimate for a back flow system and was told someone would call me back for scheduling. That never happened so when I called back two days later I was told that the person that was suppose to call me got really busy and that they would make sure someone calls me back that day. So I did receive a call that day but the guy I spoke to was very unpleasant. First question I was asked was why am I not having the person installing the irrigation system install the back flow.... That's like asking someone why their mechanic changes their brakes but they change their own oil... Anyways once that was out the way he continued to ask me all of these silly questions that could of been answered if they would of sent someone out here to survey the area like they are suppose to. He uses google map to give me a guesstimate of about $600 and said it could be more if they have to dig more than what he's guessing and also if a permit is needed. I'm guessing that's a no go for me Matt.

Service on site was fantastic but when they called me a few days later for payment the amount they wanted was more than what they quoted while they were here. When I brought it up to the manager she just said the driver must not have included the price of the part. I told her I would pay full price but would not use them again and she just said okay and hung the phone up in my face - I then had to call back to make the payment! If they are doing this to everyone I am sure they are making a killing. Will never use again.

I have to put a star because it won't let me leave none. I have never personally used this company and I PLAN NEVER TO! I called the 24 hour emergency number requesting help for a pipe that is pouring water out of (and has their card tied to it for emergency reasons) and was questioned why and how I got their number. I gave the exact location, situation and, most importantly, it supplies a daycare center. I was told that """"sorry, we are a private company and we can't help. Try JEA to shut the water off."""" His response was lazy, immature and, honestly, is a great example for the continued decline and loss in hope we have for humanity. Thank you for staying in bed for 3 important reasons: 1. This allows potential customers to realize you may complete a job but you don't stand behind it, although your card and company website implies differently. 2.This pipe and water supply, most likely, is what the daycare and surrounding businesses use to operate. Calling JEA to shut off the water instead of fixing the problem impacts every parent who now doesn't have daycare and those businesses, many barely staying afloat, probably can't afford to close due to no water. 3. In case you haven't been informed, I'm going to let you in on a secret... we are in the middle of a pandemic! Many people, including our community, are unable to pay for food, medications, RENT, and yes (I'm hoping you guessed) WATER. Water you are deciding is the problem not the pipe and/or other pieces that have your company's card hanging from it. FYI if you aren't standing behind your services then do yourselves a favor; remove the date of last inspection because that's embarrassing lasting only a month.

Great experience working with the owners and the employees. They took care of everything in a timely and professional manner. They are incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job. The office staff made everything so easy. Thank you!
