Recommended Customer Reviews

Terrible experience with this company! It's very disappointing because I am a friend of Bob, the founder of this company. He's a great guy. He sold Bobco to Albert and as you can see from the reviews, he has completely messed up Bob's legacy.
The first time I called them, it was for a clog in our main drainage pipe in our house that we moved into one day earlier. On the positive, 2 guys came out right away. On the negative, they overcharged me to replace the pipe and two plumbers I have had come out since them, have said they didn't do that great a job.
Despite this, I called them again when my washer wasn't dispensing cold water. The guy that came out DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH ANY PIPES and immediately told me the entire pipe needed to be replaced, requiring walls knocked out into the basement. I had a couple of toilet issues as well so I had him look at those. He said he could maybe fix the toilets. He got on the phone with his ""boss"" and only spoke in Spanish in front of me, assuming I am a white woman who doesn't know Spanish, but I took 8 years of it in school and know a lot more than he thinks! He and his ""boss"" arbitrarily came up with an almost $5,000 bill for all the work.
I was so angry I called Albert, told him I know Bob, and what his guy did. He was pretty nice and apologetic. he came to my house and did a proper job of looking at the washer pipe. he tested it and told me what the issue was and who to call about it. I ended up paying $95 to a washer/dryer guy and it now works perfect.
Despite Albert's correction of his employee's previous behavior, I asked him to also give me a quote for the toilets. I also asked him for a quote to REPIPE THE ENTIRE HOUSE which would have been a HUGE expense and made him a lot of money! He said he would need to go back to his office and put a quote together and he said he would email it to me.
Well, he never emailed me and I have called and left messages and he has never called me back! I guess he doesn't want anymore of my business, and that's totally fine with me! I have since been using Dave Wallace and he's the BEST.

They came out to clear a clog . When they left toilets flushed . Late that evening when run drained it back filled shower . NEVER use them ever again .
Using my regular plumber now . They try and up sell you a repipe job .

I am very disappointed in Bobco's service. After claiming the clogging issue was resolved and that all pipes are clear the whole house smelled like a sewer for days and the clogging appeared in a different location. I tried talking to the owner because the charge was outrageous but he refused to admit the problem.

Such a bad experience. Came hours late after three calls with their promises they'd be there right away. Misdiagnosed. Told me the faucet could not be repaired. Must be replaced. I called place I bought faucet. They sent me the part for free. This is my second negative with them. And of course the last time I'll call them

My husband and I had a very bad experience with Bobco. We used their service two years ago to do the plumbing for a new shower in our condo at Lakeside. Two years later, the tile is crumbling and the shower is leaking and it is costing us $7,000 to redo the whole thing. Albert refused to redo the work or give us a discount even though he admitted that it had been done incorrectly the first time. He wouldn't return phone calls and was rude when we confronted him. He said that the company is under new ownership and he has no responsibility for the work. Please don't use this company!

Worst experience ever..... I was out of town and offline when sewer backed up, my wife reached out to our neighbor and was referred to Bobco plumbing who came out and said they would clear the main sewer line. My wife did not ask about the price as I normally handle these matters, by law they are required to give a written estimate before starting the work. The sewer line got cleared and then they managed to get a hold of me. I asked how much they were charging and they came up with the total ripoff price of $275. I told them no way for 10 mins of work, they also tried to sell me a camera viewing of the root problem. After haggling back and forth they said they would take $175 which is still a total ripoff for 10 mins of work.
I actually have a machine and clear the sewer myself whenever it clogs up.
When I got back I called twice to speak to Albert who is the owner but he has not called me back..... coward and thief that he is !!!!!

A few months ago, I called Bobco Plumbing out because the water would not turn off in my shower. Bob came out and quoted me $275 to replace the valve, shower head and tub spout. He replaced the valve and shower head but did not have the tub spout on his truck. He told me he would come back and replace it later. He charged me $250 and said it would be $25 when he returned to replace the tub spout.
The next day, water was pouring out of the tub spout, without the water being turned on. So, he came back and replaced the valve as he said the first one was defective. When we used the shower after that ""fix"", water would stream from the tub spout. I called Bobco back and they took my information, but no one came to fix it. I called twice more with the same response.
Today, I called again. I was told it would be $85 plus parts. When I questioned that fee and explained what was going on, I was told by Albert that Bob had retired. I explained that even though the company had new ownership, they should honor an unfinished job. With a very sarcastic attitude, he said it doesn't work like that and proclaimed himself ""the new sheriff in town."" He told me that if I had Bob's number, I could call him and see if he could come from Denver to finish the job.
I spoke to Albert in a very manner-able way and this is the way he chose to speak to me. I wish his ""new"" company well, but I don't see it lasting very long with that piss poor customer service. You just can't treat your customers that way.
I still have water streaming from the tub spout when we take a shower, but I'd rather pay a new company $200 than reward this company for poor business practices.

I called them to replace a sink faucet. They quoted $275.
I have personally replaced 3 of these exact faucets myself already, but I didn't have time to do this one so I thought I would splurge. (I manage apts and we could never justify that much to change a faucet! We pay less than half that)
The plumber that comes isn't the one you talk to on the phone. They must have several crews that do the actual work. They used a sawzall (power hacksaw) to cut the old stems off. The vibration from the sawzall shook the house and cracked the porcelian sink. This is an undermount custom tiled in sink and now the entire countertop has to be replaced.
I know it takes longer to unscrew the old faucet, but they are all about speed and money.
If it had been done right, (and it isn't hard to unscrew an old stem) the entire vanity wouldn't have to be replaced. I paid them $275 to change a faucet and they destroyed the bathroom.
Residential plumbing companies likes this one are one stop rip off artists. They know you won't need them again for 10 years so they charge crazy money and don't expect repeat business. They have you in an emergency situation and they take advantage.
Find out if the plumber you talk to is the one doing the work, unlike this place.
(I don't even think Bob is around anymore)

After an absolutely hideous time with another company (see my negative review among 24 for others! for Rapid Plumbing and Heating) my electrician advised me to call this company. They came out within an hour and fixed the problem with our in-floor gravity heater (previously Rapid came out once - told me they had to get an expensive part and that possibly we would need to replace the entire heating unit - over two days and numerous phone calls - initiated by me - no one ever called back or came back to fix it!). I own rental units (5) plus our single family home and I will always recommend using this company, Jose was excellent - ask for him!

They charge $99 to come take a look at my fireplace for less than 15 mins!!!
I wish I read out the other reviews before I call them. They are contracted to came to change the pipe for my fireplace and I paid $70. Two weeks later, the fire place couldn't turn on anymore so I called Bob and asked him. He said it shouldn't be the pipe that is the problem, maybe it is the valve or the switch. So I asked him how much it would cost and he said depends on where the problem is and he wouldn't know until he knows where the problem is. His guy came, who is very friendly and helpful, said he is not sure where the problem is, maybe its the valve or the switch or a piece of rock get stuck in the gas line. He hit the fireplace a few times and it started to work. I asked him how much would the valve , pilot light and switch cost, he said $620. So I told him I will think about it. Then he said the service charge is $99!!!
To my surprise, I was shocked and could not believe it cost $99 for them to come take a look. I called Bob and told him he wasn't being clear when I asked him how much it would cost, he never mentioned the service charge would be $99 if I don't change the valve through him. We negotiate and he discounted to $70. I will not call Bobco for service again and please stop sending flyer to my house. Thanks.
