I am a painting contractor that has now referred Bobby Thayer to 3 different customers. All 3 customers have spoken very highly of Bobby. They say he is fast, efficient, fair, and very friendly. I have no doubt that when I need a plumbing repair at my own house, I will be calling Bobby T.

Well, we just met Bobby T. We had a 5 pm appointment for a job that needed to be done at a house we were buying before closing. We showed up before 5 pm and he said ""okay, let's get to this so we can go home and watch the game"". No problem. Except we need to wait for our real estate agent before we can approach the house because there are tenants living there who have given us problems before. He knew this, my husband told him about it when we made the appointment. He said, ""if he is not here in 5 min. we will have to cancel or reschedule. I was going to reschedule anyway."" REALLY?! Then go. I'm not going to do business with you at this point. It is not even 5 pm yet and you are threatening to become difficult. My husband is wearing a jersey for crying out loud. We want to watch the game too, but you know what? Don't make an appointment at 5 pm on game day then. In my business, customer service comes first and that clearly is not the case with Bobby T.
We really feel we may have dodged a bullet with this guy. If his work is anything like his attitude, he is not going to do well at life.

No one wants to deal with a plumbing problem in their home especially if its sewer related. What a true professional, Bobby T responded to my initial phone call timely, was on site when he said he would be, accessed my problems and told me the good and the bad with absolute sincerity.
Rather than just fixing the immediate problem, he made suggestions which will make it easier in the future - here in Shoreline there are a lot of trees and root issues in the main line are going to happen so he suggested we install a clean out drain for easier access (vs pulling up the toilet every time).

I thought for sure the job would have to be postponed when I got up and saw the torrential rain storm that showed up overnight -I'm not talking about a typical Seattle rain storm - I'm talking windshield wipers on high, streets flooding kind of rain storm. But no he was there and ready to get the job done as promised.

Rather than just trampling the garden, he removed only what had to - even replanted one plant that was initially removed. While there he checked for any other issues, fixed a bath tub drain problem I didn't even know I had, change the aerators on all the faucets giving me back what I thought was lack of water pressure.

His prices were reasonable and what he quoted me for - so there were no surprises in the end.
Would I recommend him? ABSOLUTELY!

I found him helpful and responsive. Because the advice he gave me over the phone was excellent, I resolved the problem myself and didn't need him to come out to the house. I appreciated that fact that he probably could have come out and charged me a service fee, but instead gave me good advice over the phone that saved me money and earned him a customer down the road.

I had new washer/dryer delivered and discovered my washer hoses were corroded and the faucets stuck to the old hose. Bobby came out within hours and replaced the hot and cold water spouts and discovered blockages in both of the old spickets. He not only replaced the valves for the washer but cleaned my kitchen sink aerator and replaced my bathroom sink aerator. Now my water pressure is better than ever! Affordable, Fast, Courteous, Informative. He even showed me where to shut off my water main and the proper tools.

I called Bobby to install my new water heater and he came the next day. Installation went smoothly as Bobby made some innovative ""on-the-fly"" adaptations to fit it with my system.

While the water heater was filling up he fixed two other annoying problems around my house, probably saving me $100+ for a second visit.

He was quick, efficient and professional. I would certainly use Bobby's services again and recommend him to others. 5 stars!

I have used Bobby's services a few times now. Each time he has been professional, efficient and effective.

1st - I was having our crawl space gone through by Clean Crawls. They noticed that my water main, coming into the house, had a slow leak coming in around it. I found Bobby T's here on yelp. Read the reviews and called him. He walked onto the property and as I was explaining the situation he cut me off ""Your main shut off valve is leaking. Look there. Look at how your grass is greener right there..."" He was right. He said it was common for the age of our house. He installed a new shut off valve along with a nice access panel for it. Great.

2nd - Our MA Shower was draining slowly. He came and cut out the old P trap and installed a new one. Great.

3rd - In selling our home, we had Seattle Sewer Inspection come out and they found a root obstruction close to the main. Far away from the house. Fritz drain service couldn't get to it because of the distance and informed me that I needed to install a clean out (access point). I called Bobby. He told me what to do to prep the area and how much room he needed in the hole. I saved money by having some laborers from Casa Latina dig the hole vs. Bobby. He installed the clean out, Fritz Drain service came back out and successfully cleared the Root and Seattle Sewer Inspection confirmed it was done well. Great.

4th - The City of Shoreline upped the water pressure to pump the water further... this blew our the expansion valve in my water heater as well as started a leak in the wall behind the shower valve. I called Bobby to help with the shower. We isolated the problem to the tub spout which had not been plumbed well. The solder was bad and came off in my hand and the joint was not secured properly. Bobby prepped me on parts I could do myself, like cutting the access area. He built up area and installed a new mounting point that wouldn't have future problems. He thoroughly checked the shower valve and everything else to make sure we had fixed the problem. After Atlantic Tile & Marble fixed the tile, he came back out and helped with some trim out and to double check that everything was tight and dry. GREAT.

I would highly recommend Bobby T's work and I will be calling again when his services are needed.

Our toilet was clogged and after calling Bobby T. he was able to make it over in 10 minutes. Great service and had our toilet running like new in no time!

We had a toilet that wouldn't flush. Called Bobby based on Yelp recommendations and was not disappointed. We live only a few blocks from Bob, and he came over in 15 minutes and fixed the issue. Not only that, but he checked our other toilets and sinks, and even improved slow draining sinks and a second slow filling toilet at no extra charge. He also toured the house and made sure I was aware of where my emergency water shut offs were and made some suggestions. Very personable, great service, fair price. Would call on Bobby T's again no question.
