We had an emergency last Saturday august the 6th. and had to shut off the water , we were in a panic , but I called Bob and he came within the hour like he promised , fixed the problem , reasonable rates , he does his own work , we were so satisfied and will use him from now on . I highly recommend him . To come on a Saturday afternoon !!! not everybody will do it . Thanks Bob.We are very grateful.

I have used Bob a couple times in the last few years. He changed our water pressure regulator and helped with a couple other plumbing issues at the time. He returned just today to check on an issue. I thought it was going to be my water pressure again. He checked the pressure, made a couple adjustments, and then said that everything is fine for now. Who does that? And to top it off, he didn't even charge me this visit. I don't know if that's his protocol or if that is something you can expect him to do, but that is pretty much unheard of for me. I kind of feel bad just letting him go without paying him. I am paying him back the favor by writing this review, referring when friends are in need of a plumber and being a return customer when we do have issues. Thanks, Bob!

Bob the plumber is excellent. I recently used him to fix a pipe leak and he was reasonable and on time. I have now called him do some other repairs on my water heater. I would recommend it 101%,

I called Bob that morning he gave me a fair price and did the work that day, When you call many big service companies you never know who might come out. When you call Bob, Bob answers, I would use him again and this kind of service is very rare these days, Thanks, Bob!

I had a toilet that would run and waste water. I called Bob and made an appointment for Friday at 4. Due to unforeseen problems, I had to reschedule for Monday at the last minute with ""no problem"" being the response. Four o'clock on Monday the doorbell rings, right on time. Bob quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and was on his way and I was no longer wasting water. This is the third service we have received from Bob who has always been punctual and professional. Bob has always hit a home run with us. We would recommend him to our friends and family.

Been using Bob for almost 3 years now. Always reasonable with pricing. However, I am so disappointed with him. He came out to my house because we were selling and had a few requests for repairs. He fixed our gas line in 5 minutes. Literally. And then we supposidly had a corroded water shut off valve, per the inspection report, but since it was behind a cabinet, Bob didn't want to wait for me to move the cabinet, and asked for me to move the furniture in front of it and he would return later. Of course it took me 5 minutes to remove the furniture. When he returned, he looked at the shut off valve and noted that nothing was wrong with it after all. He ended up charging me $120, and all he did was spend 5 minutes changing a simple gas line. When I asked him why so much, he explained that he had to come to my house twice. I said that was his choice, because he didn't want to wait a few minutes to move the furniture. He didn't care. He didn't care how much work i had him do over the years. He actually said don't bother calling him again. I was dumbfounded. Talk about bad business. We were moving into a new house, still in Chula Vista, bigger then then one we were moving from, and he just lost a customer that he probably would have had for life, only because he tried to nickel and dime us. SMH!!! I already had over $1000 worth of plumbing work done at the new house. Sorry Bob! You better start to treat your regular customers with a little more respect next time.

Very satisfied with Bob's work. He always answers his phone, he came over same day to install my water heater. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, it's his own business and he genuinely cares about charging fairly and doing a great job. His number is now stored in my phone for any future needs.

Over the last couple of weeks I've had Bob make multiple repairs around our home. He's extremely honest, reliable, and very reasonably priced. I will be telling all my friends and family to contact him for any plumbing needs.

Very expensive, poor customer service skills. I would not use him again or recommend to anyone. First time I used Bob to fix a pressure regulator, it took him 20 minutes to replace the part (cost $150 for materials according to Bob). He charged me $400 cash (would have been more if I paid by check). So $250 for 20 minutes of labor. Ok, so shame on me for being too lazy to call a different plumber the second time. I called Bob to fix a very slow drip on my bathroom faucet. Told me over the phone it would be $125 total to replace both cold and hot water faucets if necessary. Arrived and told me it's just the cold water faucet, so presumably it should be half of what he quoted. Took the faucet apart, took the faucet with him and told me he can tell me exact amount once he is at the store (nearby) to get the new part. Calls from the store and tells me it will cost me $145 total to replace it. I told him I had an identical problem in my apartment a few years ago and a different plumber (who now lives too far away from me) charged me $55 total for parts & labor. Bob's ultimatum to me was pay him $145 to do the work, or pay him $85 for returning to my house to put back my original part. So much for ""free estimate"" and good faith. Took him less than 5 minutes to replace the part. His cost for labor alone was $100 (for 5 minutes!!). Too greedy, not pleasant to deal with and way over-priced. There are much better choices in the area. Don't be lazy like me, call more than 1 plumber and get a free estimate.
